murjeAnother 6.8MB update. No changelog but STICKY JUMPING IS FIXED and the freeze time bug might also be fixed.

We've released a mandatory update for TF2. The notes for the update are below. The new version is 2865874.

- Scorchshot - Added a -35% self damage force penalty (Reduced blast jumping)
- Vaccinator - Übercharge penalty no longer applies during setup time
- Fixed a case where weapons could still be dropped in Mann vs. Machine
- Fixed missing descriptions for the Powerhouse Contract
- Fixed self blast jumping for non-Soldier classes. (i.e. Demo, Pyro and any other means of force from self damage. Soldier jumping was fixed in a previous patch)
- Fixed weapon pickups resetting the Ullapool Caber
- Fixed some weapons not displaying their attachments when dropped (Festives, Kritzkrieg, etc.)
- Fixed missing freeze period, not resetting of player scores and not resetting map time when using mp_tournament
- Fixed only showing friends' avatars when tf_hud_target_id_show_avatars is set to show everyone
- Fixed Shotgun and SMG Killstreak kits not working on Decorated weapons
- Fixed an OS X crash related to Contracts

tbh it's a huge nerf to blackbox, it was an actually very viable sidegrade and now it's a straight downgrade imo. Specially in HL

Then when you open SFM when you load a map hit the "Rescan" button. SFM will be able to see the new map.

Viaduct pro is pretty bugged in SFM and crashes constantly, afaik you're gonna need to use rc3 for SFM, it's the latest version that doesn't crash
Thanks again m8. Your advise really helps me out. Edit: i've googled around for a bit and i can only find a folder that has not even a .bsp in it

Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\maps

Its normal it has no maps in it because you haven't installed any custom maps yet.

I really don't like this change at all and I really don't see how it "adds to the meta", dropping an uber is already punishment enough, adding up to that only makes it worse, plus you're only adding a snowball mechanic to the game to make it even more 1 sided, if there's anything I hate is snowball mechanics, it's why I dont play mobas.

It puts unnecessary pressure on medics, which is already a hard enough class to play at high levels.

Also has that unpredictability of being 2 different maps, can lead to 1 team win 1 map and then the other team being more experienced in the second map. I find it a good change of pace and as a viewer is interesting as well seing performance of the same team on 2 different maps.

CHERRYozfortress has halves actually.

what they use at iseries isnt important because iseries might not always be the big tf2 lan

Well between both maps it's technically halftime.

Also afaik all other scenes are using EU rules (Ozfortress, AsiaFortress) and i think fbtf as well.

If you're talking about the eu ruleset that has been disproved time and time again, it's all in teams mentality, NA ruleset is as much or even more prone to stalemates than EU ruleset

Not mentioning the increased logistics of running the na ruleset which implies external plugins, etc...

- Fixed crash with logs
- Removed tftrue_tv_delaymapchange, you can now use tv_delaymapchange 1 which will prevent map changes if the STV hasn't finished broadcasting the end of the match

Sry if it's a stupid question but is the ingame tv_delaymapchange dynamically updated with the stv delay setting to make it compatible with any custom delay the stv might be using??

CricketPipes arc is changed, they fall much faster to the ground. Same with stickies. I might have felt it with the crossbow aswell (not sure). Maybe all projectiles that isn´t rockets is affected like this? :(

Thickneyprojectiles like crossbows, rescue ranger, huntsman DON'T HURT ENGIE BUILDLINGS ????????????

They seemed to have messed with a lot of weapon interactions with engie buildings, tweaking dmg increase or decrease done to the buildings, maybe they messed up on something but I definitely think all weapons should do damage to sentries, last thing we need is an indirect buff to the resident ingame aimbot
