#1 TF2 Update 15/05 in TF2 General Discussion
For TF2:
  • Fixed a bug that would cause the Sentry’s health to look overhealed when it wasn’t
  • Fixed an exploit with the Red-Tape Recorder and Sentry where the Sentry could build up a large amount of health
  • Fixed a bug where the Spy could not place a sapper without switching weapons first
  • Fixed the Engineer being able to purchase the Disposable Sentry Gun upgrade in Mann vs. Machine, build a disposable Sentry, and then refund the upgrade without the Sentry being destroyed
  • Improved client-side critical attack prediction for rapid-fire weapons (i.e. Flamethrower, Minigun)
  • Updated the equip_region for the Pyromancer's Mask
  • Fixed the equip_region for tournament medals conflicting with other items
  • Added the LBTF2 Season 9 tournament medals[
  • Updated the localization files

For other Source engine games (including CS:S):

  • Fixed the skybox on 3rd party maps when using certain sky materials
  • In Hammer, while using the Vertex Tool, pressing CTRL+B will snap selected vertices to the grid
  • Allow about:blank in the MOTD
  • Marked mat_texture_list as a cheat to prevent client exploits
  • Removed the sv_voicecodec convar because it isn’t necessary anymore and was being used as an exploit
  • Updated the con_logfile convar to checking for invalid filenames
  • Updated the network resource download path to check for invalid filenames
  • Updated the plugin_load command
  • Servers can only load plugins if they are not running a map
  • Clients can only load plugins if they are not connected to a server

The unlocks are fine. As long as they don't add completely broken weapons like UGC recently did (phlog) we're all good.

They promote different playstyles and can allow for some more creative plays.

honest feedback on the mx version which I have been using.

I don't like the formatting of the health/ammo with the shadow, on light backgrounds it very easily becomes hard to notice. This is one of the things I loved in the old original red version, HP and ammo were always easy to spot with the color boxes.

Also I don't like the damage numbers, too small, simple white, which makes it very easy to miss on light backgrounds, I can't really call damage half as good as I did with the old dmg numbers.

Will probably try some of the other versions or otherwise get back to the old yahud version I still have which also had the garm3n xhair and few other things I really preferred

For 20$ more you can get the GTX 750 which is pretty much the best card in that pricerange and its a beast, even for high end games.

The thing is, yahud already has a lot of embed crosshairs from other huds, and it worked fine in the all the old versions I used, only not now

Hey there, previously I used one of the Garm3n font xhairs with your hud (the simple circle crosshair) but since I updated to one of your newer versions of the hud I can't use it anymore. There was no Garm3nFont.ttf in the fonts folder but I already copied one I had but its still not working properly, only the label "i" is appearing and not the crosshair itself

I feel like you should add a small ammo pack to the top to enforce the sollies to use that for ammo advantage, also a few more ways for the medics to quickly get on top? So that the flow of it looks more like the original ultiduo map.

But it definitely has potential

yep, I got it now, I was doing it as a normal sticky/rocket jump minus the jumping, I had to crouch a bit earlier as you mentioned to gain more momentum. Now only need to get this a bit more consistent. Thanks everyone

#1 Demo crouch jump in Q/A Help

So I have been practising a bit more rollouts lately, and I have been going over the process one, the one kaidus uses. I remember on the rollout workshop and he was mentioning how the first and second jump were simple crouch jumps where you just press crouch and dont press jump, the problem is that I have tried it several times now and my jump doesnt cover as much distance and doesn't get as much speed as I need, so Im not able to slide up the ramp.

Is there any special kind of timing for the crouch I am missing here or something? I haven't been able to get this kind of jump properly yet and I have tried a lot already.
