And yeah, I'm always up for casting HL. I think the Nation's Cup finals showed that people are interested in Highlander (1,200+ for 3 combined streams). And even if people can't watch it live, there's always the VODs.

purexYes, it was canceled, although Groening will supposedly try to get it picked up by another network.
It's time to let it die. This last season was not up to par. If people aren't watching it on Comedy Central, they're not going to watch it on any other channel. Netflix may have a shot, which would be interesting. But honestly, I'm a huge Futurama fan and I just had no interest in watching some of these last episodes.

I agree. I've done some pugs with 6s payload, and it lends itself to be very friendly for off-classing. Teams usually find a way around just sticking a scout on the cart, and like seanbud says, it contributes to an evolving "metagame." I think it's variable on the map though. Badwater and perhaps Upward could potentially be fun, but massive maps like Swiftwater are just pure agony. Perhaps there could be a 6s mode where x1 on the cart is equal to x3 for highland. Also, I kind of want to see it on short 3 map payloads, like Goldrush and Hoodoo. Just to see.

I am proud, in the sense that I only tell people who play video games. Most of my guy friends know I cast TF2, but my roommate and best friend from college has no idea. I know she'd look at me weird and wonder why I'm wasting my life (during senior year, she had to stage an intervention because I was playing too much Plants vs. Zombies). So yeah, for those people who don't know about it, I hide it and I guess I'm a little embarrassed, because they wouldn't understand and I wouldn't know how to explain it. But for those who do know, I'll brag and tell them how many subscribers on Youtube I'm up to ;)
