It's a reference to an old copypasta-y post someone made jokingly. It gets posted in just about every twitch stream where the chat is a bunch of idiots.

Need to know which timezone the NA scene usually goes by, and if you prefer a single elimination tournament or a double elimination tournament.
NA usually sticks to EST (about 50% of NA players are in EST from what I've seen). In UGC, standard match time is 9:30pm EST. At the very latest, I would say the final match should begin at 10:00pm EST, but 9:30 would be a lot better I think.
Double elim obviously takes longer but would be more newbie friendly. If the number of teams gets high, I would stick to single elim.

Are there going to be enough rounds played that every map is used? It seems a bit much to expect newbie teams to learn all 8 maps for one cup (especially maps like gpit and viaduct which are their own gamemodes).

few questions:
Can any 6v6 team with any amount of experience in UGC can join (unless they've also played in ESEA/ETF2L)?
Can a team play if a single/couple member(s) of the team has/have played in ESEA/ETF2L?
Are there alternative prizes for teams that already have servers (IMO paying for like a season of ESEA would make more sense, but i dunno how much more/less expensive that is)?
What maps are going to be played?
Is it completely free to join?

I like 2 and 3. The medic icon needs to be thicker to look like the tf2 medic's icon, and even then I don't really like it as a symbol of comp.tf. The wrench makes more sense to me. The advantage of those 2 is they tell you what comp.tf is unlike #4. #3 looks best imo.

Did you even read what he was saying? He was just saying if the disabled kid started being violent again in a serious manner. I find it dubious that anyone would be against using a gun in a situation where someone is being violent towards your family. Regardless of the fact that the kid is disabled, I don't think that is morally wrong. He's not saying "lol shoot the mentally retarded kid ASAP xd", just to have it as a safeguard.
There's pretty much no chance a gun would be necessary here unless the kid does something really stupid and bites more than just a dog, but you never know.
I guess I understand yaug's viewpoint after he explained himself more clearly because my family has a gun. It's properly locked up and in a very safe location so little ones can't kill themselves or anyone with it, and in all of the 24 years I've lived here it hasn't really been used once, but having it in case of a serious emergency is decent. He was approaching it from a "worst case scenario" viewpoint, a.k.a. the only viewpoint a gun should ever be used ideally.
I'm absolutely against the use of a gun in that situation. There's never an excuse to kill someone. Call the police, lock your doors, find a method of keeping him from reaching a position where he threatens someone's life. Nobody needs to die here. If you think the kid should be shot if he bites someone, I too have to seriously question whether you can handle having a gun in your house. Maybe that's just me, but I refuse to believe there's a way this could turn that makes death a solution. Also, if you really do have to use the gun, please don't aim to kill. This kid doesn't deserve to die even if he's threatening your life. Even if he TAKES your life.

My team all joined the same team in a pub once and had four pomson engies (back when it penetrated) and two kritzs meds.
Really fun times.
I guess my ideal HUD wouldn't be very popular, but basically PV HUD with more of my team color in it somehow (maybe like HUDAS-style boxes framed in my color or something). HUDAS scoreboard w/ team fortress font (i cant stand non-tf fonts) without all the white. I've always wanted to see if a HUD that gives the health of engineer buildings is possible. In general the engineer HUD is fairly ugly and if I get bored sometime I might mess around with it.
I'm probably being unhelpful. I don't know anyone else who would use this. :3
