real talk, would anyone be willing to do this if valve actually contributed to the prize pool? like even something small, say like $6000 to the winning team along with something for the next couple of places
i know they won't do it but still

A tale as old as time. I've heard that some people have adblockers on their phones, but if you're like me and don't wanna bother figuring it out, there's a TF.TV mobile viewer app. Nowhere near as good as the actual site (you can't post and scrolling through large posts is a nightmare) but at the very least you don't get redirected every 15 seconds.
I've been really into trying to meditate. For me, idly browsing Reddit or YouTube feels like I'm letting my brain take a break. It's like relaxing not just physically by laying down and not needing to hit buttons, but mentally, I don't really have to think at all. Meditation has been super useful for getting that while also not wasting an extra hour getting lost in a YouTube hole. Sometimes I stand, sometimes I sit, sometimes I try not to think and just focus on my surroundings, sometimes I try to go through my whole day and think about shit.
Either way, I tend to come out the other side feeling more confident about the things I'm doing. It also takes waaaay less time for me than watching YouTube.
spammyhhttp://www.teamfortress.tv/34753/tf2-needs-optimization
the fact that jill posted in that thread and then the tf2 team proceeded to continue fucking over competitive mode for the next 2 years is probably one of the most infuriating things valve has ever done
Jw321123This game might have been the turning point in NA tf2’s history why aren’t there five pages of posts
nursey dropped 6 times and bloyo failed full uber pushes into last like 5 times. not saying bloyo isnt crazy good or that they didnt kick ass, but with that kind of stuff in play it's hard to call this a turning point, it's more just a cool thing that happened
14thEagleTailorTFinvite and prem both dying MonkaS
TFTV gonna have to stream IM and High now.
itd be nice if that happened anyway tbh
now is the time for cafe black...
im pretty sure if the guy has the password theres no team leader confirmation that needs to happen
of course not, but it is shady that of all the random google-ad-supported websites that I browse, I only ever have this issue with TFTV. there must be something specific to this website going on.
Better to know you dont like the parties than to feel comfortable just having zero understanding of whats happening in your government?
Holy shit all these dumb twitter replies saying this isnt a big announcement. This is actually huge for faceit, what else were these people expecting lol
oh boy an update!
In general, balancing around the highest level of play is the right thing to do, but if you can do some balance around low level play without negatively impacting the other then I don't see why you wouldn't do that. It's like Valve nerfing the phlog; in competitive play, even at lower levels, it made zero difference, but it made a lot of pubbers happy and helps keep them playing the game.
I spent the last 2 seasons leading this team. There are legitimately no words to describe how much more than ok the OK Kids are. These are simultaneously the most chill and most dedicated gamers you will ever meet. Every single one of them is insanely reliable, good at what they do, and knowledgeable about the game, not to mention good times to be around. Whether it's Guac and Coffin bragging about their Quake 2v2 stats or OKeearns coming out of nowhere with the most ridiculous trash talk, this team has given me the best times I've ever had playing TF2. And don't worry about Panda, he's just a little pent up right now. He's far more interested in that Brain Booty than any actual one.
I dunno. I had to leave for my own reasons, but I'm still on the fence as to whether I made the right decision. There is no possible way to regret any time you get to spend playing with these guys. It's a good time, every time.
