My computer did something similar when my power supply started going bad. You'd need a multimeter to actually test how much it's putting out tho.
It's not technically unfair since everyone can do it, but by that logic we shouldn't have any weapon bans either. It just seems janky that all you have to do is get into the spawn area and POOF, instead of actually getting the door to close behind you.
Yeah speaking as someone who uses the hell out of it, it's super useful and should probably be banned outright.
The logistics of banning it are pretty hard though. Even if you ban the loadout switcher, it won't be very hard to write another script that switches to and from another class very quickly. The only solution I can think of is map changes; setting the actual spawn area far back enough from the door that the door has to close before you can change classes, like in the newest granary pro.
messiahalso not to mention medics can backspawn with whatever amount of ubercharge... SOMETIMES 100% and have a get out of jail free card. (this case doesn't happen too often i would say happens a lot more in pugs than in league matches but still)

I have the same problem. I checked soap_tf2dm.cfg, and all of the relevant variables are set correctly. I have also tried joining the server and using rcon to set them, and nothing changes.
Looks pretty baller.

KillingIIRC, they were in the works and pretty much done but we were blocked by Valve since they didn't want to give out medals for a league that you would have to pay for. Valve would probably still have the same position which even I think is fair.
Why is this fair? It's a league the player chooses to participate in. It's no different than buying a cosmetic. Hell, you have to pay to get the Tip of the Hats medal.
As long as people still need to pay premium to play in ESEA, there is a role for a totally free league. Whether that be TFCL or UGC or whatever, it doesn't matter, but ESEA cannot be the only option as long as there is still some payment required.
