So ive been basically a apple kind of guy until i got into pc gaming. Just was wondering if you guys know good computer details so i can get myself a good gaming pc. I really have a lot of problems with mac and its kind a big issue. Im looking for something affordable thats around 600$ or a little more. Only game i actually play is Tf2, and i would like to live stream and do a bunch of cool stuff that im unable to do on mac. So most information you give me will be used . I was just thinking about buying one thats already built.

EggplantYou remind me of that story about Sun Wukong who thought he could travel to the end of the world in one leap but in reality never escaped the limits of buddha's palm. You don't realize how shitty your gaming experience is on a mac because you haven't experienced the level of optimization you can get on a PC. Mac OS (10.7.5 at least) won't recognize more than one click simultaneously.
Thats what i thought to until i changed mouses lol its just this logitech mouse

Am i the only one that has problem detonating stickies while charging another one? For some reason i cant detonate a sticky while im charging another. i checked my cfg and all, anyone know why this is happening? Im using a g9x logitech mouse on a mac.

Bubbalondon_callingalso i wasn't aware you couldnt watch demos on a mac. that sucks.
I played on a mac, (i installed windows so now i don't), but im pretty sure you can play demos
everytime i try to download it gives me an error, plus its a huge hassle just to install windows

EggplantGenerally, acceleration accounts for speed as well as distance when you move your mouse. For example, with acceleration enabled, moving the mouse 1" on your pad at a slow rate might turn your view 90 degrees, but moving the mouse 1" at a fast rate might move your view 360 degrees. With acceleration disabled, moving your mouse 1" will ALWAYS turn your view only 90 degrees, no matter how fast or slow you move the mouse.
Thats one of my hugest problem when im playing, as i try to turn slowly to the right i have to pick up the mouse which is so annoying, Ima try this out

If you can, try installing bootcamp. Your interp is locked at 100ms on the Mac version, and this really affects the experience of gameplay. It's not as bad for hitscan classes but you still are at a disadvantage vis a vis seeing your opponents projectiles.
Also, unless you are definitely used to it, try disabling your mouse accel. OS X has built-in accel, but you can turn it off in the terminal or by using this application: http://www.mediafire.com/?2leex8y7p0xy8di. I couldn't find it online anymore so I uploaded it again.
What does the acceleration do?

Not_MatlockPick your fights on flank. If they pressure you, fall back and call that your flank is weak. Hopefully your combo will be able to send enough spam out to push them back.
Like is there a way i can download tf2 demos on OSx without getting this message?

KeyDamage isn't necessarily needed for scout.
Your job is to clean up and cap points.
also watch the flank
Thats one of my big problems, when im trying to watch the flanks theres always a type of combo going in and i die.

blueberrymuffindon't focus on your stats too much, if you feel as if you're not aiming well enough then get into dm/mge and practice. if you feel as if you're not being aggressive enough, try watching some demos of yourself and see where you can improve

Well since im on a mac, i really cant watch demos of good scouts playing. But if i could i would. I spend almost 2 hours every day for the past 3 months in mge, and it feels as i cant progress.
