wareyaIf I knew you were gonna post this here, I would've said there's WAY too much health for comp!
Is this a problem a lot with a lot of maps?

I foresee this becoming as popular as the other dozen no-crit/spread servers.
turtsmcgurts Who knows, I don't watch soccer/futbol so maybe that's how it is, but it doesn't make for a very enjoyable and spectator friendly video game.
Are you kidding me? Single point of action = very specatator friendly.
If all you had to do was press m2, you deserve the flame.
Its pretty much exactly what its like to play soccer.
On a related note, soccer sucks. Unless you're immediately around the ball, you're not having fun. But you need to be spaced out for a variety of reasons.
This game is pretty much only gonna be satisfying in a team setting. In pubs with randoms, its ass.
I trust 2gd has some idea about how to make a popular esport. It also sound like he wants to have most of the features that Dota has.
I honestly don't think a skill gap between newbies and veterans is a big deal as long as there is skill based matchmaking. I remember playing ns2 with newbs and they fucking loved it. Put that same group in the same server as a good skulk, and they'd have no fun at all.
What makes me excited for this game is how much attention he is paying to movement. Between the different physics for each robot and the different abilities, it seems like there is going to be a lot of variety in different styles movement. That's something you don't see very often with fps'.
RhetoricalAnarchistAnyone else read that post in Duder's voice?
Pretty sure I'd buy anything if I heard Duder say it would assert my dominance.

FayngDo you ever think this could happen with League of Legends too? There really is no competitive scene besides the Pros, unless you count tournaments. I feel like it would flourish in League.
Y would u think its ok to bring up league here??
Chroma is pretty unfun. At least when I played it a few months ago.
This is nice insight into the decisions you make during midfights, but you dont really offer up why you make those decisions. I expected to see something more general, rather than talking about each specific situation.
So I watched the cast, and the health bars helped a LOT with seeing how fights were going. Its really an awesome addition.
One issue I have though is that the red and blue blend in to tf2 too well. They don't offer enough contrast I feel. When a person loses a chunk of health, it's a little difficult to really see how much they lost quickly.
You could just keep the background as white when health is lost, and use a different color overlay for overheal. Also, a lot of fighting games show recent health lost in a different color, but idk if that's even possible.
shiznosurprised cloud 9 was invited and rox kis wasnt
Are you though?
