Yeah he does play a lot of TF2, mid level soldier who's got potential to play higher than he currently does. Plays a lot of MGE

#8 budget camera in Off Topic

I use a GoPro for my sports, works well but you get a lot of shake and it's more difficult to stabilise imo than a DSLR would be if you're taking footage of other people snowboarding. Perfect for strapping to yourself though.

#109 Post GXL shit talk thread in TF2 General Discussion

Was there actually any drama at GXL? I know normally all the keyboard warriors quieten down for LAN but since this was the first real big community one in NA I was hoping someone would get rowdy

#1 Team Mentoring (new teams if possible) in Mentoring

Sup, I’m Sideshow. I’ve played Prem a few times in a few different teams on soldier, as well as casting and reviewing/mentoring teams before. I’m looking for a team, or even a few teams, to mentor or review STV demos of.

I’d like to focus a fair bit of time into teaching people about the basics of the game, figuring out what needs teaching, and using it as a basis for some tutorial videos as well. I’d prefer to get a brand new team to walk through stuff, but I can mentor at any level; I can quite easily review higher level teams and tell you how to improve but I don’t think it’ll be as beneficial for everyone else.

I can review STV demos with you guys, I can talk through maps and positioning with you, I can walk you through pushes or strategies, or I can call for you while you scrim and try to teach you while you play.

The thing I don’t wanna do is review POV demos of one player. So much info is missed out, and it’s boring for me. Teams only please! Also I am a very busy guy, but I’m free about half of the evenings so I’ll have a fair bit of time to commit to teams. Feel free to just post STVs in here if you want as well and I’ll review them.

#31 The current state of newbie mixes in TF2 General Discussion

Yeah 2GMT isn't an option for me any more due to working. I could try getting an EU version running, or run some earlier on in the afternoon (say 5-7EST) for NA people? The effort in getting the EU nlpg etc groups up and running again would be momentous and I don't have all that much time...

#74 Favorite past teams? in TF2 General Discussion

AYOGU- nah fuck that it was i46 mixup, then i49 Epsilon, then i52 froyo. And not just because they were the best, it was the way in which they played which was so good to watch.
i46 mixup was just amazing having come from an EU vanilla slow-paced scene, i49 epsilon was the pinnacle of tf2, seeing them all come together with such a fluid playstyle was incredible. i52 froyo I love what they did/do with their scouts, and clockwork is phenomenal to spectate.

#5 The current state of newbie mixes in TF2 General Discussion

I'd be up for doing this, but I don't really know how it works. Could you run me down how I would get involved, how often, when they normally happen etc?
