#12 Best tf2 baiter in TF2 General Discussion

Dango aka Reilly

Season 18 ESEA Match
https://play.esea.net/match/4036974

He's aliased as Computer. He was our combo scout and he didn't tell us he was going for a perfect game on scout until it was almost over. We even lost a round and he did not die because he baited us so hard without us knowing.

#17 Hedgehog Hero LFT Demoman in Recruitment (looking for team)

After 3 season with hedge, I can't say enough good things about him. He is incredibly consistent and has been our strongest player each of those seasons IMO. He is also a fun dude to be around and I know he will do well.

I'd be lucky to find myself on a team with him again because invite is where he belongs. I want to see hedge perform with 5 other players who all play at his level.

#17 brian in Recruitment (looking for team)

Brian is a great dude and a fantastic teammate. Always willing to help others either online or at LAN.

He can main call effectively and usually has a solid read on most situations. With a team that reacts to his call quickly, he can excel on pocket. If roaming, he has good game sense to be a big factor. Would be difficult for me to recommend a better teammate.

#85 MyAnimeList BLACK lfp IM in Recruitment (looking for players)

After reading through all this and past threads to get a proper understand, I just want to say that it is possible for both sides to be correct. You don't always have to have 1 side wrong and the other side correct.

b4nny had every right to deny payments based on his rules. (its his money and his deal) That said, he is being a douche over a technicality.
phlps had a small price to pay to get a full reimbursement. He made his own poor decision not to abide by the guidelines regardless of how technically he broke the rule. That said, he has had that alias for a long ass time so why give a fuck IMO.

I have a solution:

@b4nny -- honor your word and pay the other 5 members of the team who listened to your rules and got denied because of a questionable technicality. If you do that, I'll reimburse phlps myself and then you can run this again next season with a clean slate.

#13 what class would you hang out with irl in Off Topic

Probably the medic. There has to be a million fun and normally impossible things you can do while ubered and invulnerable.

#499 THE GREAT TF.TV PET CHALLENGE in Off Topic

Another pic of my little doggie and my new kitty, he is a Russian Blue. He looks sad in that picture but I woke him up from a deep sleep for that picture. He is usually more happy faced.

#26 Stephen Hawking died in World Events

and joined the academic boycott of israel:

I view his political activity as inseparable from the rest of his life (and it kicked ass)

You're a fucking retard

Don't derail this thread by arguing with him. Not responding is the best course of action.

Hawking was one of the greatest minds in human history. He also happened to overcome a lot of personal and health problems along the way. Lots of respect for this man, humanity will miss him greatly and reflect on his genius for a very long time.

#12 sports injuries in Off Topic

When I was real young and playing basketball, I went up for a rebound and came down on another guys foot. I severely twisted my my right ankle and had to go to the hospital. I was told that if I had twisted my ankle a 1/2 inch more, I would have ruptured the growth plate in my right leg. The result would have been my left leg growing normally but my right leg would have stopped growing.

I got lucky but the injury still lingers to this day. A few times a year I will just be walking normally and for no reason at all, my ankle twists and I have to recover quickly. I don't fall but I do a little dance to regain my balance which probably looks ridiculous to anyone watching.

#13 frag clip dump thread in Videos

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7yfy1iiQvA

This is a very old TF video. Most of the stuff is pretty simple to follow what happened but the clip starting at 4:04 bears some explaining. If anyone cares, its below.

Show Content
This was one of the most talked about and among the most clutch captures that happened in Quakeworld TF. That match was double or triple OT if I remember correctly. I don't remember the division standings at the time but it was easily the biggest match of the season. The clans, DJedi and ALL, were both powerhouse teams and the 2 best at the time. Merism was the name of the scout on DJedi that made the play and he was a fantastic player. First off, he is playing scout. He is NOT shooting a lightning gun, that is just how the demos showed the nailgun being shot back then for some reason.

What happened on this play is that Merism basically took his time and waited for the right moment. The engineer's gun was being rebuilt and as he jumped onto the flag, he threw a perfectly timed "conc grenade" to push himself backwards after touching the flag. You can see the demoman at 4:21 looking right at the flag. The demo did have pipes(stickies) on the flag but because this jump was done so perfectly and so instantly he could not det fast enough to hit him. You can actually see the demo det at 4:22 and its late since Merism is already gone. Only a perfect det could have foiled this perfect jump, i'm not even sure anyone's reaction time would be fast enough.

Doing that move was a real high skill maneuver only the elite scouts could pull off consistently. It was especially hard on maps like that because there were lots of obstacles that could screw up your grenade jump.

I'm level 4 on faceit from a while ago, why can't I join the amateur hub after logging in?

I click on Recommended Hubs and in the middle of the screen is a solid Orange Bar that I can't click.
