I think its fairly simple in both cases. Faint decided to back the wrong horses.

Without going into specifics and trash talking people, there were obvious red flags from the very start with both teams.

In all honesty, you can only blame the player when its the first or maybe 2nd time it has happened. Once it is a known issue for several seasons, I blame the team leaders for allowing them to join the roster.

Off the top of my head right now, there are at least 5 examples of players no team should ever want to pickup and trust. As someone said, its a small community so mostly everyone should know the repeat offenders. If team leaders chose to ignore history they roll the dice with such players every season. Its just a shame it happened to a sponsored team this time around.

The current loose definition of "Mass Shooting" is 4 or more dead. Nobody has really 100% defined it just yet.

Do some research, most mass shootings are done by handguns not the guns used by this Las Vegas asshole. How will gun control make "common" 1 person shootings happen less?

I can tell you that no handgun legislation will be seen in our lifetime. The only reason ppl cling to gun control in a lot of cases is by using words like "Machine Gun" and Assault Rifle" when they don't apply to the weapon in question at all but damn those uneducated words sound good on the local news segment to push an agenda.

Many of those laws in other countries work because guns are not as widespread as they are in the US. That means the laws you are referring to have no practical application in the United States and are a waste of time.

I have yet to see a proposed law that would hurt the "bad people" with guns more than the "good people" with guns. That is why there is such resistance to any new gun laws in this country. There is no reason to penalize guys like me because some fucking nut-job wants to shoot into a crowd of people randomly.

I'm also guessing that you don't live in a major metro area because on public transport, you will encounter disgusting people that smell or are simply undesirable to be around, in which case you change seats right away. This is/was the main reason I switched to driving to work every day.
