#13 Medic tips pastebin feedback in TF2 General Discussion

To the OP, check the videos MR Slin made regarding medic advice.

Dave_the_IrateThe top tip I've been giving to medics I've mentored (newer comp players):

During an uber, once you only have ~50% of your uber remaining you need to think about your post-uber position
.

If not arguably before you even uber too, since that factors into the decision making about why you are actually using an uber and what you want to achieve.

Of course, what you plan on doing can change during an uber depending on how it goes, so what you said still applies.

look at this goober
how do ppl make themselves talk like that for minimum wage level YT income
He sounds like penn from penn and teller

He uses the same fucking retarded pausing when he talks as Valve News Network. Presumably they think that's how you add emphasis

His point are probably commonly held views in pubbers.

#136 faceit tf2 in TF2 General Discussion
StuffedTbh a lot of arguments i've seen against faceit so far don't amount to much more than "waaah, other people are better than me at the game!"

But that's the reality of any kind of competitive gaming and you kinda have to still make it fun for people who are shit. And why not, games are meant to be fun for the people playing.

pablorodriguez2009, running around in straight lines with his PDA out probably isn't enjoying being shit stomped constantly.

Cool get good haha, but that's quite a decent chunk of your player base potentially not enjoying the game. Plus, the other guy got shit on but he did have a point that people who just like a casual mess around probably won't enjoy the by comparison fairly intense competitive aspect of Faceit. Maybe there is a way to cater to these people somehow, maybe not.

Hell of a compliment from Corbac - Cuby has the potential to be... a solid flank scout.

#12 dm servers dead in TF2 General Discussion
Lupusfreight as a dm map would be uber cool but make trains run more often

Pistolling someone down from afar, holding S and then getting smashed in the back of the head by a karma train.

Awesome.

Seriously though, it's a good DM map. NA also plays Gravelpit, Clearcut and Villa I think and they kind of work for DM too.

kbtoStylaxSpennyF, it’s quite sad. Mine are backup they weren’t affected by the burns at the OVH Datacenter, the VM just crashed due to an update.
Yo, could you put some extra maps into your servers por favor?

Reckoner for example. In NA they have Turbine and freight and theyre actually not that bad. Better than chokey maps like Gully and Badlands (for DM only, not as maps themselves).
yeah tbh snakewater is so aids when playing scout spam classes can just live on the top and never come down

DM idea - high ground is lava.

#35 How to Become a Better Scout Player? in TF2 General Discussion
scrabOk here's a step-by-step guide

+good shit

I know Scrab mentioned it but really, don't neglect your movement. I kinda realised recently that i have really bad movement even for my mediocre level because I only ever focused on my aim and so even if I can hit shots, I'm not getting into good positions or im taking damage needlessly. The art of scout (and probably other classes) is really in the movement imo. For movement I think MGE is better than DM, especially scout vs soldier,.

Also, as somebody who switched sens a crazy amount of times, it's really true about what scrab said about your dm needing to be second nature. For me, thinking about my sens (and so aim) meant that I wasted so many scrims because I was focusing on if i was hitting shots rather than the actual thought process of the game itself. Of course, changing sens constantly also limited my mechanical improvement which kinda stunted my progression for 2 years or so, so don't do that.

funhaver19981. High refresh rate monitor
2. ADADADADADAD
3. you must have low sense
4. only track NEVER flick
5. Stay alive.
7. make yourself healable
8. Do not overextend

Kinda makes no sense when some of the best scouts in the game use high sens too, including our lord and saviour B4nny.

zx37StylaxPacino went mental half way through his career and just started shouting in every film.https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105323/

non-yelling sleeper pick

Great film (imo his best after Heat and Godfather) but that's one of his main shouty films

That's where the Hoo Ah in my OP comes from

buudHow about some of the ol' Ludvig van while sipping chai from a nice portculan chasha, followed by some ultraviolence.

And if you're lucky, a bit of the ol' in-out.

Just a few I've been listening to recently:

Vaughan Williams - A Lark Ascending
Thomas Tallis - Fantasia on a Theme (probably my favourite classicial piece).
Bach - Cello Suite
and also Bolero by Ravel actually.

I've watched too much kid stuff, need to watch better classics and more niche films

Mate, from your list you've barely discovered the 90s, never mind the classics :D
