I prefer dx 8 because i lag insanely in pubs on dx9 where i can drop to about 30fps, and i don't enjoy the shine effect dx9 provides

Some Nvidia cards running the latest drivers cause a flickering on certain in directx8, in order to rollback your drivers go download any of the older versions on Oct 10th 2012 or earlier.

When it's finished downloading just run the setup and the drivers will rollback to the earlier version. Don't forget to disable the option to automatically update your driver in your Nvidia settings / Windows Update so you will not upgrade again.

- How to make use of 1 player adv; in lsd we never had that problem but my team in the demo would often play those situations wrongly, i.e when scout down what should our team do, when demo is down what do

I'm sure that as much as our top players would love to attend i49, we do not have any sponsored teams or the playerbase to generate the amount in donations. Also our scene now is pretty stagnant as we have no events and tournaments to play for.

A pity as we have definitely have players able to compete with the best!

Anyone have trouble dling this? Mine keeps getting stuck between 60 - 90%

The skill in Asian tf2 varies very widely, 90% of the teams are pub fodder while you have teams that could challenge low invite (lsd, dizziness of old, kuso scout)

The progress of Asian tf2 is held back by the language barriers, shit routing between countries and the lack of sponsored events which provide 0 motivation for players to improve. In fact most of our top players have lost interest in the game due to the lack of challenge, or brighter prospects in games like LoL and D2..

iM for top 4, gl guys show that smaller communities can have top teams too :)

I pay about 40 USD per month for 100mb Down / 50 UP Fiber internet..

Part of that 40 is used to pay for cable tv and internet phone as well
