Sad to see Knoxxx step down, but Epsilon will still do just fine, and I'm sure they'll take down Animate regardless.
DrPloxoNobody on Froyo actually makes money off of tf2 in the long run. Only streaming. so like . . . being real, not a big downgrade from the last 8 years.
On top of what future said, imagine if competitive Overwatch truly becomes a great thing and Froyo happen to be one of the best teams. They would be locked in this shitty two year contract that gives them little to nothing while other organizations would have tried to make offers with salaries and other incentives.
The offer is extremely low risk and high reward for Tempo Storm, yet high risk and low reward for Froyo.

I'm so incredibly tired and sore. I'll keep it brief, though.
Thank you to everyone who helped me prepare for this event.
Thank you to everyone on production who were stressing out horribly with various problems not in our control, but managed to make it as awesome as we could.
Thank you to the casters.
Thank you to Geel, marketplace.tf, Zowie, and Rexflo for sponsoring the tournament and supporting the community. Also, thanks to Geel for making it out to the event and hanging with us!
But most importantly, thank you so much to everyone who showed up to make this event what it is. All of this preparation, time spent, and effort is absolutely meaningless without your support. It is fulfilling to see all of you have such a good time with each other under the same roof. Every single one of you are awesome.
See you next year.
registration closes soon. I know a lot of you are still back at your hotels. get here ASAP. I'm not waiting much longer.
Streamed matches will be on Saloon! GATHER YOUR EARBUDS AND SKINS.
LuneWill there be any stream or coverage from GXL?
Yes. Dashner, KevinIsPwn, drshdwpuppet, dMenace, and others will be helping with production and other things.
Also, I finally updated all the posts that I missed over the past few days. This might be the last time I update the original post with everyone's info and such, so please make sure to pay attention to new posts at this point.
There's still quite a few people looking for a team / looking to make a team, so start making friends. :3
If anyone tried to buy their ticket in the past few hours and got a "registration is closed" message, that was an error on our part. Registration is back up. Sorry for the confusion.
I haven't even looked at this thread in like 3 days because I've been so busy with everything, but please, before you go out of your way to ask me a question, LOOK AT THE FAQ. 95% of the stuff I'm asked is in the FAQ.
Tickets haven't sold out yet, so please stop asking me. I'll make a post if/when they do.
Extremely excited to announce that www.marketplace.tf, owned by Geel, will be sponsoring the event by donating $1,000 to the TF2 tournament!
Thanks so much for supporting the event and the community! Make sure to say hi to Geel and thank him if you run into him at the event.
drshdwpuppetTheFragilethat were quintessential to the production staff not going insane
Essential.
Blame Kevin, I just copied and pasted a paragraph he typed to me. :D
drshdwpuppetAlso, something I don't think TheFragile has said is that he will be busier this year helping/running many of the other tournaments, so he won't have time to chase teams around all of the hell on earth that is Pennsylvania to get them to play their matches. So one role that someone could do is simply be a runner to communicate between admin/servers and the various teams. Plenty of non-technical, non-camera facing roles to be done, and you don't even have to commit to doing them for the whole entire LAN.
Thanks!
Also, yeah, this. I'm gonna be busier this year, so any help with running the tournament will be greatly appreciated.
HELP WANTED
We're looking for some volunteers to help set up and run production. Last year, we had several people with minimal / no audio or video experience that were essential to the production staff not going insane, and we'd like a repeat of that this year.
The stream is only going to be on the day of the tournament. If you're not playing (or if you want to help if you get eliminated early on), send a PM on TFTV to KevinIsPwn or me with any production background (if any) you have, and we'll find a place for you.
