aren't both teams free after the 20th (epsi) and 22nd (WWCF)?
maybe the best option is to have the farce of a grand final on 12/13 and then have a one off match between epsi and WWCF when their starting 6 are available and cast that on TFTV?
edit: come to think of it i would even throw in a couple of bucks to see a one day cup between iT/mix^ + epsi/WWCF

shruggerI knew squid before he had ever been to ESEA lan (I was on a team with him), and even in low invite he was focused on making LAN. Not for a vacation but because he is very competitive and wanted to prove himself where it matters most. If people think the game will be fine after the current top invite dies off, that is ok but I hate this notion that we play for a vacation. It is about getting to play on an even playing field(0 ping, 0 fps) and to experience the craziest/tense games. Getting to meet your teammates and competitors is just a plus
why is this concept so incredibly difficult for people to understand?
i am far from an invite level player but i understand the idea of "we want to play on equal footing to determine who is the best"

That's backwards. etf2l has the best anti-cheat with no client. ESEA client's anti-cheat was rubbish, basically just placebo.

wait, there is only one LAN in all of EU?
Apart from iseries there is no other fully european lan. All the other lans are local/national lans by the local communities ie: russian pixling lan, french lan, portuguese community lan. But these lans are rather small and only local people play.
...what would lead you to believe, that at least when it comes to TF2, that LANs like ETS are anything other than regional LANs?
for example: ETS is about 1750 miles/2800 km from where i live (comparable to the distance from Paris to Moscow)

It's why esea has been by far the most competitive league worldwide year after year. Euros getting there shitstomped by the Americans at I46 was the direct catalyst to their success at I49. It's fine to have shitty leagues for everyone but it's also important to create an environment to give players who put the time in something to motivate them to be the best they can be. Europeans are fortunate to have a lot of lans they can go to, we don't have that luxury.
we have one lan, you have gxl, ets and the esea lans (afaik)

Many invite, and main streamers/players use it. And I personally am sick of facing cheaters on and off client. So I am doing what I can.
The user: "Laoseed" was selling this on a site called HackForums for $15 per copy, no monthly sub. I bought it off him and then told a friend about it and was like how the hell did this slip through the cracks. And it now appears it is detected.
