Man I remember when I thought there was a difference between top of open and bottom of IM.
smesiwalking and try to on the ground as much as possible
The blank style of soldier practice, play the ground and go for every shot/fatscout with shotty. It can actually be so much fun in DM.
I got 2 extra hit me up if anyone is interested..
All gone
ScrambledOW has shown that having a pub gamemode in the same format as your competitive gamemode means that players are far more interested in it from the get go.
This is actually incorrect... Even with the money and support blizz is providing there is a large gap between the comp game and the pubbers. Truthfully it looks exactly like TF2 did like 3 or 4 years ago, with pubbers being all "REEEEEE, OW is not a comp game, why are you trying to force us to play comp, its making the game worse" etc, etc. Hell even OW stream numbers are abysmal for the actual player base they have and a large portion of the viewers come form pub personalities and not tournaments and the likes. So no, while having the modes the same does help it does not always equal adoption or growth.
DarkNecrid the season where everyone ran 2 natascha heavies because it was broken and allowed, the season where people ran double gunslinger on gravel pit,
Ohh god please don't remind me. These two things ALONE are enough of a reason for whitelists and shit.
Shot in the crotch by a 400+ FPS paintball from about 7' away. That shit hurt more then the bones I have broken from jumping off of cliffs while skiing. (Yes I know that paint balling with more then 375 is retarded.)
True, but TF2 is using a 15 year old codebase that has been touched and modified by 300 or more people over that time period. Calling the codebase an absolute shitfest is a nice way to put it. Realistically TF2 needs twice the amount of coders to actually make any headway. The fact that they are even moving forward at all is impressive.
ScatterbrainUltiduo - "Oh hey cool a fun on-the-side game mode"
4v4 - "Oh hey cool a fun on-the-side game mode"
7v7 - "wtf why are you trying to divide the community"
(Yeah signup fees make this a slightly different case, but is it really *that* different?)
More like
Ultiduo - Hey something that has been being played for literally years anyways, lets have a small prize for once
4v4 - lmao 4s, no one gives a shit.
7v7 - This has a larger pot then ETF2L, the actual fuck.
Yeah really don't understand all of the "7s is bad REEEEEE" shit going on. I can think of many ways to waste 4K that would be more fun, but if this is how we wants to do it I say giver. Because lets be honest, he doesn't like 6s period so this 4K isn't something that we are losing, because we never had a chance to have it in the first place.
holy fuck its killing.
Started playing on a shared account in the summer of 08, got my own account Feb of 2010 (Yes almost 2 years on a shared account, being a kid sucked) and am still here for some fucking reason.
Found out about comp from almost day 1 with the old TGBF casts and started playing seriously once I got my own account and have never looked back.
ESPNMultiple sources said Blizzard is asking for a $20 million franchise fee for the league featuring its popular 2016 title, with prices escalating from there in larger markets such as New York and Los Angeles. However, following the $20 million buy-in, teams are not guaranteed revenue sharing until after 2021 and only if Blizzard meets certain criteria that sources did not disclose to ESPN. Additionally, sources said if a team sells its spot to another party, the league would receive 25 percent of the proceeds.
L FUCKING O FUCKING L
No wonder.
The entry fees to OWL are much too steep to expect any orgs that don't have backing from sports teams (NGR, Missfits etc.) to to even think of buying a spot, and with Blizz making OWL the only thing available for teams its not a surprise that the "smaller" (in real world terms) teams bail on it. Blizz has always made questionable decisions when it came to there games and supporting them at a esport level and all of them up to this point have killed those games and scenes. It will be interesting to see where OW goes with all the $$ that is being pumped into it but I am not holding my breath.
Roll the bow back to this update and I 100% want it in, because it is actually fun as fuck to use and does add another dimension to med. The only reason I want it banned right now is because of just how absurd it actually is, it heals way too much and as has already been stated, the uber building is actually retarded as shit, and this is coming from someone who abuses it, and has been abusing it for 2 years in literally every game I play, including pugs. I love it, but its stupid.
I don't want to ban it just because I want needles back (i also do but that's not the reason), I want it banned because in its current state it is much too strong, and that comes back to my question about consistency when it comes to ban reasons. I am not advocating for single weapon bans, I am advocating for a ban list that follows a set of rules that make sense and that people can easily understand, because currently we have to write essays and have 5+ page threads to try and justify bans or unlocks. That's whats i want to change, it just so happens that the bow is a glaring example of that.
