Virulencemat_fullbright is what the nvidia driver 'flickering' was?
In that case, it should be possible to replicate it using the nVidia Inspector tool, somehow, or something like that. If it can happen by accident, it's usually reproducible.
KeyMu g400 is dying of cord problems. What's the chance of it being replaced with a g400s?
Wait a couple months so it's more definite.
Holy shit the g300 is an awful mouse. You can't press any of the invasive side buttons without fully taking your fingers off of the main buttons, and you have to arch your fingers to push one at a time. The buttons behind the mouse wheel are really annoying to reach, and the wheel itself doesn't click at all. The only upside is the quality of the feet, very nice.
NeonWaldoI'm using a G400, and the profile-based DPI switcher doesn't detect Steampipe tf2, so it just uses the default profile. I noticed this really quickly since I play at 3300 DPI ingame and 400 on my desktop, I'd suggest making the highest switchable DPI on your mouse what you usually use for gaming just until it gets fixed.
I'm using the G400 too. What dpi should I switch to?
I figured that you used a separate profile in the Logitech Gaming Software panel. The reason I had the problem was that I had it set up to use a different sensitivity when I was ingame. If you did not have any of that set up, I don't really know what your problem is. To clarify, I mean

capnfapnWaldoJust throw some low-power noise over the ground, granary is simply too flat IMO.
this would be cool as long as it doesn't fuck up splash damage.
Displacements don't usually mess with splash. I mean something like you have all over snakewater, where it doesn't really affect gameplay but makes the map less boring.

I went down to 90 fps from my usual 400, though I booted in half the time. Also, until you restart the game, textures get screwed up, lighting was completely nonexistent when I first booted up:
15 second reload on an old, mostly full HDD. Though for some reason my frames are lower than before, probably will fix itself though.

EDIT:
Also, if you're going to go with what Phi did, copy over the red side instead of blue, otherwise I won't be able to do this

Maybe this is a sign that they will start integrating the features that they deem 'safe' into the game, such as the transparent models and mat_picmip stuff. Maybe even increasing the fov_desired to 110.
