lockwould've been a good tournament to watch if there was quality options.
As a non-partnered stream you have no control over if you get quality options or not. Me doing production lowering the bitrate is a bad trade off in case you do get quality options.
SminHopefully someone puts up VODs on YouTube so the people who can't watch live can still see it.
Highlights will be cut from the VOD and put up on YouTube
bLaOn my HUD, the target ID health value has a box around it that changes to red/blue to indicate that the player is buffed/hurt. How do I make it to where the health number changes color instead of the box?
that is controlled by the hudanimation events: HudHealthBonusPulse(Stop) & HudHealthDyingPulse(Stop)
Modify those to target the number elements instead of the box

@chostarman: Have a look at the sv_pure whitelist example file and the sv_pure 2 whitelist to see which folders/files can be changed.
There are some exceptions for hud things you can do with .res files such as loading custom images (vtf/vmt) by using the 'replay' thumbnails folder.

gemmI know wiethoofd (who doesn't produce directly for tftv but still) uses one monitor and so only runs the game at 720p so he can fit other stuff on the same monitor. putting the game in 1080p would be impossible for him
I have a 27" 1440p monitor and run TF2 at 1080p :D

To actually contribute something useful to the discussion about 1080p streams:
- You need a good PC to be able to run TF2 smoothly while streaming
- You need a beast PC to encode 1080p @ 60fps on the fly (I'm doing all of this on a 6 y/o system)
- You need a massive internet pipe to have the proper upload
- A big part of your viewer base won't be able to enjoy source quality if they don't have a killer connection
- If you're not a partnered stream you're not guaranteed to have quality options (goes with the previous point)
Will actually be able to show the new map win indicators this stream!
I fixed the issue which made them spaz out during the UPP.
Dyl4NHow do I change the control point icons to a straight line like this? http://i.imgur.com/3ShFMQd.png
Have a look at this thread; it's a texture modification, which doesn't work in servers that aren't sv_pure 0.
Finals should be somewhere during the Sunday afternoon afaik
Can't wait to show the new map win indicators in action!
They spazzed out because of a dumb piece of code I added prematurely :X Should be fixed for next game
Also banned in ozfortress when used to maintain ubercharge when switching spawns.
