once you reach post game and talk the street npc at the 4th gym you get a beast ball, which it's sole purpose is to catch ultra-beasts.
Just speculation tho, Nintendo added a lot to their titles in terms of dlc/season pass in fire emblem, would not be surprised if they did it for this game either
