its ur boi t-milk.
I played on DoublePlusGood (prograde's team) for the first half of the season. I have limited experience (this is my first season), so playing in IM was a pretty poor decision. I think I'm low to mid Open material with my Scout gameplay. I'm interested in playing other roles like Demoman but I have no experience in 6s on him.
Here are some other important points about me:
- I'm always striving to be a more skillful and knowledgeable player.
- I care about having a positive, but realistic, attitude in the game.
- I don't BM in matches or scrims - i.e no taunting, disrespectful offclassing, leaving the scrim/match early, etc.
I'm good to play every weekday evening after 8 PM EST <3
I'm down to fill a role in the current season after my team-leave probationary period has passed (on the 2nd of March) or in the next season! :)

GrapeJuiceIII? It's true. if I walk around with 3 seasons of mid open experience I'm not capable of IM. that's just how it is. idk what you're thonking about
edit: unless it's about the analogy in general, then yeah the analogy is garbage
ye it was about the poor analogy. just thought it was funny xd
GrapeJuiceIIIIf you want to take this awful analogy into TF2 let's do it
You think you're around a low-mid IM level
an overwhelming amount of people around or above a low IM level call you mid open.
guess what, you're not low IM.

Great DM, good flank, but also great at countercalling. If you can work around it, or you want him as your maincall, hes wonderful. Otherwise, don't pick him up.
mmrarkteglad to see that they're forcing voice communication for more serious games, but is there a casual queue that doesnt require discord?
That's a neat idea! Maybe we could do that in the future, but for now we're going to focus on slightly more serious play :)
AthletickOk thanks I've been playing a lot of csgo lately and I forgot that tf2 and cs differ on how long it takes to get good at the game.
I think you could say Beginner is about equal to the range of Silver ranks.
AthletickThe limit should definitely be more than 200 hours. Or at least be class based. Someone with 199 hours on spy and 1 hour on demo shouldn't be allowed to pug as demo
Hey! I'm an Admin for TF2PL. Here's my input on why the limit is 200 hours.
We want Competitive TF2 to be easily accessible to all players who at least have some idea of how each class works - in that they know what each class has the capability to do, not necessarily that they can play well in those classes. The beginner division will be accessible for the newest of players, and players with some experience will easily climb out of it :) Personally I think it will end up working well.

I play TF2 almost all of the time. Conversations with viewers about the future of TF2 and the competitive TF2 scene aren't uncommon.
