i7 is usually if not always overkill for gaming. The only reason to get it is if you're streaming or doing video editing as well. A i5 or amd fx6300 or even a phenom ii 955 would be fine. For tf2 the gpu doesnt matter much but for other games you want to invest most of the money on it. I'd go for a 7950 and overclock it. The nvidia gpus are really overpriced, and now that adobe is going to work with opencl are really not usefull for anything. Amd is just faster and cheaper. Plus better for bitcoin mining :P

Fps configs are awesome. I use the highframes. This should bump it up the fps pretty well.
profixNo big deal.
You are not welcome here
How does this macro thing work? I'm curios, I'd like to install it and mess around with it if its not banned or whatever
I think its pretty obvious that its just your system is getting too hot and the computer is turning up the fans automatically
Its also counted as cheating in normal servers I believe.
Damn thats gotta suck. I play on like 30 ping. I'm going to try doing some lobbies and newbie mixes this week, medics getting pretty boring (after ~3,000 hours in the game, everything is starting to get repetitive ;)). And yeah, I don't usually play pugs, I like to just go on a server with my friends and do little 6s matches or mge.
But really thanks guys.
Just get a program to turn the fan speeds down. If the temps are too high then you should keep them at high speeds but its its like 30 c only then its fine
Cro0Ked_flippersJUST REMEMBER THISbearodactylSo just go in and get my ass kicked?
yeah basically, then your ass will slowly get less and less kicked

Good tip ^ Will try. Thank you guys.
So just go in and get my ass kicked?
So I main medic and engi (medic in 6s and play HL engi), but I'd like to try getting better at demo and solly. I've been practicing rollouts and stuff, but I'm not sure what I should do, I feel like if I join a pug I'll get destroyed/complained to by my team. Also been going mge but I feel like that doesn't really help, after a certain point.
So should I just join a lobby or pug or something saying I suck at the class, and just go for it? Newbie mix? I don't really know what I should do
edit guess il just go and practice more and try some pugs and shit
