#13 teamfortress 2 twitchtv mobile in TF2 General Discussion

It's still there in the latest version, when it works, and streams still show in searches for 'team fortress'

@TwitchTVSupport, yesterdayWe found the issue with the latest (2.3.1) of the iOS app. We've pushed to Apple for review. Keep an eye out for the update. We're hope for a quick turnaround from Apple, hopefully before weekend.

apple pls

#64 tftv i49 fundraiser in TF2 General Discussion
arkonHonestly, why are we doing this? Did we gain any more exposure in the esports scene after doing this last year?

Discussed at length here: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/5843-i49/

short answer is 'yes', though

TheJesterAre you at all thinking about running ads during the stream? Considering that the viewer count will hopefully be very high, maybe several thousand, I think ad revenue could be a nice addition to the donations.

I see where you're coming from, but think of it this way.
A viewer who doesn't know the TF.TV staff, which many will not, has to trust that they aren't just keeping the ad revenue, and if they don't trust them they'll just leave and ask others to leave too.

#10 What's your job, TF.TV? in Off Topic

2nd year in Uni, don't play competitive since I find it hard enough to concentrate on learning as is.
Applying for internships everywhere for next year, writing ethical wallhacks in the meantime.

#19 r_depthoverlay problem in Q/A Help

Seems to be part of one larger texture for the whole model, assuming I opened the right one.
HLMV says 'models/props_gameplay/door_slide.vmt' is the only texture being used, which looks like this

#6 TFTV EU RESTREAM: Pokeman vs Quarantine @ 8:00 EST in TF2 General Discussion
skyrideYou mean replaying NA matches at EU times? Yes definitely! I'm actually trying to to get a complete schedule of casts from this season so we can replay them in the upcoming EU off-season in the run up to ESEA LAN.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Sounds good, looking forward to it!

YawnyMaybe a spray version?

I'd use one, but it'd be better to wait until there's a hub page to link to on the spray, imo.

#43 TF2 Web Spectator in TF2 General Discussion

#42, the current version runs in any mobile browser that supports Canvas, which the majority do now. Performance isn't great though, but since it's open source there's nothing stopping somebody from making a native app with mumble listening built-in. And I like the icon idea a lot.

#43, it started from me playing around with HTML5 and SourceMod, based on stuff jimbomcb had done. When I got to doing the HUD I based it off omp's TFTV branch and thought, "This would actually be neat for casters to have during matches"
Went to Lange about it and he liked it, so I got to work. Sal saw a screenshot in another thread and gave birth to the idea of a shrunken, no-HUD version which could be brought up on stream as a minimap or overview.
