DrPloxoKanecoThe fundamental problem about pyro is that the class skill floor is incredibly low. By buffing flame damage you are decreasing even more the skill floor of the class, are you sure that's a logical path to take?

People have shown that you can sucessfully play pyro using your feet, or even a wheel, isn't that enough proof that the class is already dumbed down to a whole other level?

It's something that can't really be solved without disturbing the whole class balance of tf2, and while I feel removing airblast all together is not fair for the class either, maybe it could be reworked, but in no way it needs a buff of any kind, the class already serves its purpose perfectly. And its damn annoying at that.
Sounds like salty soldier main.
get better, pyro sucks.

It would be nice if you actually made a constructive and useful post that actually helped the discussion.

I really didn't read the mod thoroughly, yeah theres a lot of things wrong with it, especially that ridiculous close-range damage nonsense you got going on. focus on fixing airblast first, if you're gonna do anything

I thought the purpose of mge was to practice aim and get better not to win, so why make an alt regardless of tryharding or not? Approach it as a practice mod and not a competition, and you'll have a lot more fun, imo

also would like to point out that you can easily kill a pyro if you two are not on the same ground level, with fast, surprise attacks.

-game breaking mechanic with airblasting ubers
-airblast is not knockback, but a pocket of dimensional warping of time and space capturing the target
isn't it weird that pyro is the only class in the game who can lift a revved up heavy off the ground, but soldiers cant with rockets and demos cant with pills? Isn't it weird that turning around a corner and meeting a pyro means practically certain death due to burning? I literally typed +forward and +attack in console as pyro and got 7 kills before dying the class is too ez and gets rewarded too much for it

I think pyro's airblast is the worst mechanic in the game

You could be flying a million mph at a pyro and it totally negates that, can equally control all classes as if they have no weight differences, can render a gunboat soldier almost completely useless

engineer is a stalemate class

literally no aim needed, one mediocre engineer can stop the momentum of a whole game, mini sentries and wrangler need to be removed

heavy is more point and click than scout and thats just sick
