Help with what uses the gpu and cpu the most.

Hello. Can someone please tell me what parts of TF2 use the gpu, and what parts use the cpu? It seems the method of upping some settings, but not others works for me, and I'd like to know the question above to help me out with doing that.
Would prefer specific settings in game or files, and I'm using CFG.TF's file format if that helps.
