^ If you really think about it, it's all okay, because it was ESEA's fault the match hadn't already been played. As punishment for their own negligence, we as players only have to worry about playing 1 map!

IT WORKS!!! BASED ESEA!!!
Hellbentinb4 match reschedule after lbf
must play by tonight or the team will get forfeited
it's weird, it's almost like there was ample time to play 1 of these playoffs matches prior to tonight but some unavoidable obstacle appeared...
^ are you sure? I'm not doubting you know what you're saying but your video card is definitely listed as a supported product
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/86510/en-us
you might just have to mess around with nvidia (delete all your nvidia files or restart your computer when prompted after attempting the win10 update through geforce exp)
janedoei had to delete anything nvidia from my computer to actually install my drivers... that only took an hour to figure out
it scared me at first cuz the driver wasn't installing correctly, but after the second attempt it told me to just restart my computer and then it recognized my video card and the installation worked
that's basically the only hiccup i ran into though
^ I mean in actuality it's quite the opposite but okay
SALOONS UP BUT THE ESEA SERVER ISNT
XD
Super friendly and nice player with solid mechanics
the g303 probably has a much lower lift-off distance than the g400, considering the g400's is rather high and I can't even use it because of that
I don't know anything about the second question, but the first is just something you get used to. generally lower lod is preferred as you can pick up your mouse without any undesired movement you're picking it up and placing it back down. that is, if it's just not tracking at all. for example, the zowie mice pride themselves on perfect lift-off distance (very low, very easy to maintain accuracy)
CheesyMacgyverSideshowIt just makes milking the uber or holding during a force a really bad move. One wrong step and your team has lost the round, not just a cp or two.
You can argue that this raises the skill ceiling but in actuality all it does is make medics more likely to bitch pop. Makes roamers' lives easier, makes medic less fun and interesting, and makes countering a sniper much harder.
just played a couple games with this
the only bad thing is dying at last respawning and taking your own medigun the despawn timer on weapons should be reduced to 10-15 seconds would also reduce the major clutter going on
the situation you explained is nearly the same thing weather you can pick up the enemy uber or not
Red uber exchanges into mid blu medic drops along with the blu medics death at least 1 other player dies
Red blobs their medic and cleans up the desperate players left with the choice of running and hiding or saccing in both dont work if red pays attention
Red caps mid and second and has uber advantage to push last
now if you can pickup the enemy uber
Red uber exchanges into mid blu medic drops along with the blu medics death at least 1 other player dies
Red medic picks up medigun while being blobbed by his players lets say he gets it safely (the roamer doesn't camp the medigun or jump where he knows Blu medic died as Red medic goes to pick it up)
Red team takes mid and second and already has uber to push into last
its the same thing the only difference being that if you have to wait a build its boring and 1 team can setup with heavy engi pyro sniper and lame you out and then not be able to pushout anyway because they have a million offclasses and then you sit at last for 10 minutes instead of just winning because 1 team made a mistake and playing a mid fight
also about medic being less fun and interesting how is that even possible an entire new feature was added that they get to account for uber advantages are no longer just counting and comparing the enemy percent with your percent you gotta think about where mediguns were dropped and if they coulda picked them up
more ubers more fighting more fun
sorry for no punctuation I died before reaching grade 8 and never learned
it's not "nearly the same" at all. an entire building process during which the other team can prepare for the incoming uber push isn't something that can be overlooked as a small deviation from the way medic works now. it leaves nearly no time to set up and gives you basically no chance to defend. in fact, if you drop the medic, the other team is more or less forced to divebomb your medic that picked up their medic's full uber medigun, which results only in a pop, but drops even more players so you can basically take 2 and last while they're respawning
i'm not necessarily saying this change is bad, but it definitely changes absolutely everything. the game is even more-so based on uber than it was before. and now i can easily see medics being conditioned into forcing due to even 10 damage. because why not? you really can't risk it with milking anymore.
The original sensors for the fk, ec1, and ec2 all had trouble tracking on mousepads that weren't fully black. It might've just taken a while to take effect, due to washing and wear
I'd say get one of the newer sensors (fk1/fk2)
lighthouseI highly doubt I'm the only one who actually doesn't want any of you to change your personalities because of this...
I won't change my personality, but there are usually better words to describe something than the ones I sometimes choose. I'll still be the same, but it is an actual problem in gaming and I am actually going to try to avoid it on my end. I do appreciate the sentiment though.
Alright hey so in case anyone missed the point of the thread and can’t tread through the trainwreck, this is a community-wide apology and effort. It might seem “apt” that we do this now, but good often comes from bad. TF2 and gaming in general has been plagued by hateful language for a very long time. Even collectively, our team is not a paragon of political correctness. Thus, from this point forward, we are going to try to do some late spring cleaning and choose our words more wisely. The kind of language that triggered this event is embarrassing to see and a game with such a supportive community deserves better.
Hopefully our apologies are a good first step forward. With matchmaking supposedly around the corner and greener pastures ahead, we hope we and other teams can pave the way to a better TF2.
Thanks for all the support!
