#3 Lightboost? in Hardware

When I tried it it felt really unnatural(?) and I couldn't really focus on player models when I was moving. The colours were also really messed up; they were washed out and had a pink/purple tinge to them. But I know some people like it so I'd say give it a try and see if you like it. You can always just disable it if you don't like it.

#213 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Looks fine but at that price point I'd get an SSD and maybe a better cooler. Maybe an NH-D14 or an H100i or something.

#14 TF2 Size + SSD = :(? in Hardware
sildeezyYour SSD will fill up if you don't move your PREC stuff to your other drive every now and then.

Was thinking of just having the file directory to save demos changed to a folder on my hdd. Don't know if that works

Oh shit I just found a folder that I was using to store movie files. It's around 75 gbs.

ExquisiteStoneRemove your demos, like seriously, if you have thousands of demos that is very likely it, either that or something that you recorded is still in there

I had way more demos before that I moved to a different file location. Now I only have around 9 gb of demos still in my team fortress 2 folder, but I assume 90 gb still is not normal.

#1 TF2 Size + SSD = :(? in Hardware

I am in the market for an SSD (128gb probably, maybe 256gb) to store my OS on as well as a couple of games, TF2 being one of them. However, apparently my Team Fortress 2 folder is 98+ gbs. Is this normal? How can I still benefit from the SSD without storing the whole game on it? I know that 9 gb of the folder is from demos so I guess I can just store them elsewhere.

I'd say get a used 270x off of forums/craigslist. They go for 100-120 usually.

ScilliantNice build delpo, do you over clock at all?

I have my processor overclocked to 4.3 GHz but I have not overclocked my gpu yet as I haven't really had the need to so far.
