mge'd ruwin on stream once. now I think he's a running joke or something?
A solid player none-the-less. The least you could do is give him a shot.

renxzenMrPoT4tOAlthough I do like your idea of filling the "dead time" with something to watch.
Why not repetitions like in soccer?
"lets see that 4k again, ohh look at that" "yeah i think if x was here instead of here he would have been denied" "yeah but he wanted to pick that demo and then bla bla bla" "yeah interesting" "interessting interestngignsngingi"
As much as I would love for this to be a thing, I don't think that it would be possible while the game is happening.
Yes, you CAN do it through STV, but you would need the demo first - meaning the match needs to be over and the STV needs to be uploaded. Can't forget that you would need to skip to the ticks where it happened, etc etc.
It would be pretty neat, though - cause some players doing the camera-work don't catch what the casters are looking at (though truk is somehow amazing at catching everything.)
If any of you remember SonOfDadSC's movie making tutorial, he had a hud from Decap that had no sniper dot. The problem is that it was hosted from MegaUpload before it went down.
If anyone has that hud, I'm sure it would work in today's Lawena/Source Recorder.
Sorry if I'm not of any help here with your current suggestion, though. :X
Saint_my guess is you're running screen capture over game capture
go select game capture in sources (right click in the sources box), while it wont show anything but the game, it runs a lot smoother
I'm using Game Capture. Its the only "scene" on in OBS. I have a software capture in OBS, but it isn't on when I stream TF2. (I stream my screen when I'm editing or whatever)
Edit: I think you fixed the problem. Since I moved the Game Capture into its own scene, without the Software Capture being another source, my game feels more fluid. I'll have to mess with the OBS settings a bit more, but it looks like that fixed it. :)
MR_SLINYep. Try running the game in full screen and using game capture. I notice a significant different in the way the game feels when I do that. If I don't, it feels like there's something tugging on my mouse, or like extra resistance as I turn. I'm using raw input as well.
The quality of your internet connection should not affect how well your computer runs TF2.
Alright, I'll try fullscreen.
And yeah, I knew that my internet shouldn't change how my computer runs the game, but I thought it could help with some of the OBS settings or something. Doesn't hurt to have more info, I say.
OCTANEfor me it helped to minimize all other programs in the background and turning off the preview in obs
I guess I'll have to try that. I'll have to look up how to turn off the preview in OBS. I alt tab into TF2 to play anyway. (I'm running on one monitor)
turtsmcgurtsSLI? sometimes these programs don't say.
Nope, just one GFX.
MR_SLINare you using raw input? full screen or windowed?
I'm using raw input, running windowed no border.
Since I wrote the earlier post super late at night, I forgot that it might help to mention my internet.

Hi all.
I've started streaming a while back, and even after reading a few guides and setting up everything to where i felt it was right, I've run into this problem every time I'm streaming.
I have net_graph on during my stream and regular play. When I'm not streaming, I get a good ~130 fps, while running a beefy config (ragdolls, blood, trails, etc). When I am streaming, my fps drops to about ~100.
I know fps drops during streaming, yes; but the difference is that when I'm streaming, the 100 fps doesn't feel like it did before I started streaming. Despite net_graph says I have about the same fps, it doesn't feel as fluid as it does when I'm not streaming.
I've tried running max frames config, max quality config - tried downscaling my res in OBS, change buffer size -- just about everything. Nothing fixes this issue.
My computer specs from Speccy:
Now that I look at my specs again, I think it might be slow ram clock times. I know my RAM can run at 1600 MHz. Could that be the problem? (I personally don't see how it would be, but I'm up for fixing the problem!)
Thanks in advance!

Super strong player, and an even better person. Is always wanting to chat about whatever, and wanting to play whatever. Whether that be ultiduo, pugs, mixes, pubs. Anything goes with this guy, and he fits right in.
Try him out. You won't be disappointed. :)
StaticVoidAlfieIt's in folder you installed lawena in. It's the files that get transferred when you start up TF2 using lawenaIt's not working because there is no change for killstreak items in the hudlayout.res
the element is controlled in a file in resource/ui/ called huditemeffectmeter_killstreak.res. Below is a link to a version that should properly remove all of the elements, just paste it in your lawena/resource/ui folder.

That worked! Many thanks! :D
Alfieedit lawena/hud/killnotices/scripts/hudlayout.res.
ctrl+f "KillStreak"
set enable and visible to 0
I tried doing this, but there were no matches with "Kill" "Killstreak" or anything like it.
I went into tf/custom/lawena/scripts/hudlayout.res - I don't know where you are getting your "hud/killnotices/scripts" string from. Maybe a different version?
I also tried adding in the original hud element and changing values, but that didn't work either.
I'm using the latest version of Lawena (4.0.10), if it matters.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey all,
I recently got a killstreak weapon, and noticed that despite having a custom HUD, the default killstreak counter shows up in the bottom left side corner of my screen.
I also noticed this when I tried to record with Lawena's HUD!
I want to know if there is any way I can move that hud element out of the way, as I don't really need in my regular game, and especially not in my Lawena recordings.
I've tried to copy and paste the original HUD Element into both my custom HUD (KBN) and Lawena's, but neither did anything.
Thanks in advance!
Posted my response. I sort of guessed my numbers, since I couldn't find any official stats on my ESEA page. I did try to mentally add up all my F/A/D though.
Hopefully I won't skew the readings!
Bumping instead of making a new thread. Interested in tryouts!
I would prefer Scout over Roamer.
Hi all,
Back at the LFT grind again, but this time for CEVO!
Instead of putting my HL experience down, I'll list my 6s experience. :)
ESEA (Mid) Open S14 "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" Starter Scout (disbanded)
ESEA (Mid-High) Open S14 "The Scoop Troop" Starter Scout/Roamer (team stopped playing midseason cause ESEA)
