I just really want to mention how awesome the mumble feature is for casts. Just hanging out in the twitch chat, almost every single time it goes to mumble there's some new funny call or something that's spammed in chat for like a minute. That's the type of stuff that makes people want to come back to streams.

One thing that's more from a casting perspective, is there a way to make big events stand out in some way for the casters? I don't know exactly when the the live feed of events that was used at i52 is available for casters, but when it is, some sort of bold text for ubers, drops, med kills, all the big sorts of things that you guys use for making those instant highlights or whatever. One of the most frustrating things for me as a viewer is those situations where the casters talking about a fight as if one team still has ubered while it is plain to see that the uber had been forced earlier on. I understand just how hard it is as a caster, but it would be nice to make these things more obvious to avoid these situations of the casters missing some big play and commentating off of incorrect information.
Hate to bump, but has there been any sort of fix for this? I'm playing on a Mac and I'd like to be able to get back to my precious 121.
Sharks will forever be my team even after that defeat last year. Also, I've adopted the Colombus Blue Jackets as my new East Coast team.

Obviously a purely aesthetic thing, but I noticed this while jumping around on the map. The transition between rock and concrete here is really jarring. Overall, I really like the flow of the map and this isn't even worth a new version, but I thought I'd at least mention it.
I do like the new mid design, but it there's really only one area on the highground that the teams are going to come up. It would be interest if there were some way to incentivize going up on the left side to make for a more varied mid. With how the ramp is set up in that corner, it is death for a an attacking team to try to go up there. If a combo is in that grassy area in front of the bridge, their only real option seems to be going up right by the house (idk can you hop up from the rock?). I think pushing the ramp on the left further up or even rotating it altogether would help create more options when attacking.
Please, if Ash and Pikachu could deal with those Squirtle Squad fools, we should be able to deal with these guys.
We will take what we can get. I think that should pretty much be our community motto.
LionxI start my junior year of high school next week. Still haven't done my summer homework. 2 year IB program here I come.
Starting my junior year as well. 5 AP's, but no IB program at our school. School starts tomorrow and I'm only just now finishing up my AP US History homework.
vanillaI feel like so many individual players had enough incredible frags for their own video. How about a bunch of video editors get together, each one pick a different person, and there can just be a "i52 - Yuki" video and an "i52 - Seagull" video, etc.
Although I'm sure there would be enough material for the very top players, I think team frag videos would work out a lot better. It gives a much better chance to get al the frags in there without completely fatiguing both editors and viewers.
It's hard though. I can remember enough specific plays off the top of my head to make a five minute video or so. No matter how many videos are made, there were just too many amazing plays made to capture.
sparksybrush IM are the champions of the hearts of course, with amazing plays by yuki and sheep as expected. But holy hell, what was up with Termo? He was insane, and delivered some of the most entertaining moments with his holds on Badlands last. The way he just sat on top of that lamp over the cp and watched as 4G didn't know what to do with 1 player left to deal with was hilarious. Almost no one knew how to handle it and didn't want to go on point. Laughed my ass off.
I agree that Termo was the best demo there, but I really think the Badlands last deal was quite selfish. It took a few pushes to figure out how to deal with it, but teams figured it out, it didn't even phase Mixup. Also maybe he wouldn't have to watch all of 4G standing around the point with his team dead if he had actually been contributing to the defense in the first place.
SmithsonianHyperi0nSaddening to see lotta iM players being mentioned and yet they came 4th :/in my books these teams are pretty much even in terms of skill and it just comes down to how they perform on the day (maybe not froyo though? I never got to see the grand final so I never got to see their play but after the group stages they seemed to settle in and start performing a lot better, so maybe they were that extra step up from the rest). So 4th is still certainly not a disappointment, especially after the games they put out
also from the games i watched, seagull performed incredibly (how many times did he get bonobo on snake v iM saving his team from a last hold v uber? insane play)
I think the only reason IM came out fourth was because they didn't have as much of an understanding of how to protect their med. I mean Seagull was getting Bonobo with almost every single jump on that Snakewater game. In individual engagements and DMing ability IM is dead even if not above all the other teams. They just aren't used to every single player on the other team being able to pressure that much harder for their med in fights. Some of it was on Bonobo, but a lot of it was on IM for not having a scout in position to shut down the roamer bomb, or a soldier to shut down the scout barreling in through flank in the same way other teams could.
freakini'm actually going to wake up at 5 am on a sunday to watch video games
