SubinkaI got rare footage of tmags outside of his natural habitat. (He joined ammomod.)
SPOILER: He loses twice because his movement is just that awful.
how many times this guy destroy u?
why are u watching his pov for 5-10 mins and only time he played vs me he played like 30 mins straight
i got in the bios!!!
8600k is there and so is the RAM, and in the correct slots but it wont show display with the sata cable in
no more error code
edit: put into another sata, it picked up i see the drive but now its gone
i got confused because i read other people with the same issue fixed it through some unrelated shit i.e ram so when i did wat MidnightMick said i thought i should move on and i also thought that the jumper did the same thing as moving the battery cause thats how they made it sound in the manual D:
What could possibly be the issue now? Someone care to enlighten me? ;)
sorry about that
ok i removed the battery waited 10 mins put it back in and no change.
wtf why is this happening
oh i thought the button had the same effect as doing it that way because in the manual it says 'The Clear CMOS button has the same function as the Clear CMOS jumper'
so whats the button do?
also i wasn't sure i installed the CPU and RAM correctly cause it was my first time and i was checking if i broke the CPU cause that would be worst case scenario, and we thought the A2 = sata issue wasn't really what was going on cause unplugging the drive didnt change anything, but ill try removing the battery which i guess ill just youtube
i dont have this jumper cap thing they got in the manual tho o_0
if its not gettin the ram missing error doesnt this mean there is ram detected mr setsul? >_>
theres a cmos button on my io shield that apparently has the same effect as doing the whole jumper thing. i unplug the power cable, make sure everythings off, hold the button down 10 secs then try again
wat im trying to say is if having the cpu plugged in is producing a result, it means the cpu is being detected and the same with ram.
ok let me explain my logic like this
no cpu plug =errr 00 which would be the code if i didnt install the cpu correctly, right? but if i did install it correctly, i would not get 00 code. with it plugged in, i dont get 00 so that means the cpu is being detected
same with ram. if my ram sticks were in physically and i got the 53 code, it would mean my ram is fucked because its physically in but not being picked up. in this case, having them physically in is making the first code, A2, so that means that theres a difference between having them in or not, meaning that the motherboard is picking up the RAM
but then again this is my first build and the only logic im going by is common sense and ur obviously Setsul, the computer guy
anyone get what i mean or is that just not how computer components work
PLZ help me T_T
where can i get one of those beep code things i think that would help me out a lot
monitor in not working means its the RAM? (still not tried)
if its not am i facked?
also on the reboot aftwe pressing cmos, it will restart in the boot then boot back is that normal after pressing cmos button
edit: no sticks = error code 53 and power button not working, which means ram was also ok i guess
one stick: back to square one
i havent tried furthest slot but any ram in a module produces A2 error and with no ram is 53, so that means the RAM is not the issue and previous test of unplugging the CPU plug means cpu is not, so i guess its this battery thing thag says kts on it (bios?)?
using hdmi doesnt change results
yeah i think. theres only hdmi and display port options i usually dont use either im gonna try hdmi in another computer and see. usually i use dvi
no i didnt think for HDDs i was just checking if it picked up the cpu or not and it did so therefore cpu was installed correctly
cpu intel i5 8600k
motherboard z370 taichi
no gpu atm
no usb in
error code with the hard drive, which btw is a hard drive ssd hybrid thing, is A2 and without is A2 meaning that its not being picked up which could mean no power is going to the hard drive (i cant tell if its spinning or not)
or its the RAM which i will be checking tonight. doesnt make sense why no display cause of no drives but the RAM makes more sense.
i dont have the beep thing too btw
unplugged the atv12 cable (top left) which i assume is da one that gives the processor power in order to check if the cpu was installed or not.
no atxv12 = 00
with = A2
so that means the cpu is being picked up no?
removing sata did nothing then i tried cmos button then no sata and still nothing
i plugged in my mouse and the mouse button lights up and the code changes to b4 which is usb so i guess the backs work its gotta be ram
when changing the RAM should i put on backplate and then lay it sideways or can i do it while its standing up
all the screws are in with standoffs that were pre done by my case (corsair 750d) and screwed in. but on my motherboard there was 1 extra ill draw where when i get home
the motherboard is fixed, secure, doesnt fall down and seems lifted from the case theres also a standoff in the middle, but you dont screw on this one, thats like a 'special one'. if we include that one then i got 9 standoffs out of 10 on it
also, like i said the cpu is being detected so i really dont think i did short circuit it i just asked to confirm if it was still a possibility cause thats like the worst thing u kno
