go to /scripts/game_sounds_vo.txt and change volume to 0 or remove all "wave" lines
won't work in sv_pure 2 (even with preloading) and nor will adding empty files as far as i know
you need different one for each class and after you pick the class for the first time (after starting the game) it will always reset to A
this is something i've been using for years and i haven't seen any that work quite as well

how did you change to different dxlevel, is it possible that it's being overridden in one of you configs? load the game and type "mat_dxlevel 98" into console

CollaideAlso, whenever I use vtfxhair "sniper" (any weapon) it doesn't show up while other vtfxhairs work fine. Not sure what the issue is as with default hud, and other custom huds this doesn't happen.
this hud has a material called sniper in the thumbnails folder, rename the one you're using or delete this one
