there was an issue with the steam beta a few months ago that seemed to cause this, are you in it?
STOGEI think I've got a more up to date version or whatever
(Noticed the sniper/smg just showed a regular crosshair in the video, it shows an icon for me)
http://www.mediafire.com/download/ck52pmjd6wpam9w/quake+thing2.zip
i moved everything in the material folder to custom\x\materials\vgui\replay\thumbnails and they show up fine, but in the middle of the screen. how do i move them to the bottom to allow me to use a hud crosshair as my crosshair? changing the x and y fields in the crosshair attribute in weapon_name.txt just moves a tiling of the crosshair image around in the same window in the middle of the screen
edit: found it, HudCrosshair in hudlayout, change xpos and ypos fields
This hold seems OP to me, but if we set a class limit of sniper to 0 I think that will fix all our problems :)

please tell me you didnt just edit the html and spent ages figuring out how to get the max possible score based on the scoring system
Nah he probably just hit score test without moving any of the tiles. I just did that and got 944. Took the test with a non-calibrate IPS and got 19.
im am disappoint. just did the same and got 1056.

i think monitors have a large effect on this. just look at the perfect ordering in the image below, i swear they're not ordered correctly there
whatever happened to the good old simple 'XD'

Tangyyalright, moving it there worked, and then I would create a shortcut for the .bat file and put launch options there? I tried doing that and it did not do anything.
Thanks a ton so far, never would of got this.
nope, you put launch options for joequake at the end of the 2nd line of the bat file
oh, my bad, forgot it came with a dll. RInput.dll should be in the same folder as the exe
TangyyGemmellnessyou can make a bat file in the same dir as both exes with the following:Hey, thanks a bunch for responding. I have no idea what a bat file or a dir file is, would it be too much to ask for you to walk me though it?
start rinput.exe joequake-gl.exe start joequake-gl.exe TIMEOUT /t 10 /nobreak
if you need launch options for joequake (idk if they're commonly used, not familiar with it) just put them after "joequake-gl.exe" in standard format (i.e. spaces between, include any -s before them)
The other thing is that when the rinput file is launched, the command joequake-gl.exe needs to be entered, does this account for that?
yep, if you look next to rinput.exe it's given the joequake-gl.exe as an argument, which rinput will automatically inject into.
basically all you need to do is move RInput.exe to the same folder as the joequake exe, and create a new text file with the above stuff put into it. then you save as, and save it as "Joequake RInput.bat" (or somethingelse.bat) in the same folder again. make sure you select save as 'all types" so it allows you to change the extension from .txt to .bat. you can also make a shortcut to this .bat file on your desktop if you like
you can make a bat file in the same dir as both exes with the following:
start rinput.exe joequake-gl.exe
start joequake-gl.exe
