Well it does say TEZC at GXL, so I thought some videos would be interactions with other players and stuff.
In my experience these guys did 80% drinking, 15% tourist stuff and 5% anything else.
DataIts hard, as we like to communicate and socialize with our staff. Sometimes we'd need you to be online at times that are unrealistic for you.
I guess the point is don't disqualify people in a broad, sweeping way until you're sure they can't meet your guidelines. What if I work primarily night time hours and am typically awake during Euro match times and daytime hours?

Why not? I have cast plenty of Prem for both HL and 6v6 and know all the players. If I am available at the appropriate hours, is there some reason I couldn't be part of this?
renxzeninstead of waiting screens, maybe send someone to interview some of the spectators, kinda like a reporter style, we want to live the experience
It was my understanding prior to the event that I'd be doing this. My understanding was we had a wireless mic for me for this purpose, I'd have my own camera person, etc. I was really excited to do just this at LAN.
Unfortunately, two things.. I obviously had to fill in and do a lot of casting, and secondly, whether it was forgotten or abandoned in all the busy times/madness or whatever, interviews in this style sort of fell by the wayside. Maybe someone knows better than me what happened to this.
I had a lovely time at this also. I just got home.
It was like a weekend long summer camp, or college frosh week. Felt so normal just hanging out with all these internet people.
When can we do it again? I'm addicted.
phAZE- I somehow didn't have enough time to meet everyone I wanted. Of course it didn't help that I arrived Friday afternoon, but I know a lot of people felt the same way. I don't know what could be done about that though, as we're trying to pack in so much into ~2 days.
Damn dude just get up and walk around! Once I met everyone I've seen on facecams, I started just creeping on killcams to see who TF2 folks were. It worked! I know you want to play a bunch but get up and just shake some hands.
An easy sign-in type chair map would be cool for next year though.

Thanks for watching! Our original casters were Bloodsire and cbear, but neither of them are at this event. My original role, as you can see on the old original GXL thread, was to do interviews and hosting, maybe a bit of casting.
I may not be an Invite Player but I am confident in my hosting and interviewing skills. I am happy that gecks, me and others have been able to fill in to put on this show for everyone. Sorry you couldn't make it yourself.

It's funny because the first thing any team that goes out with a project announcement does is advertise the skilled people working on it to help generate excitement and credibility. Yet we have not a single example of any work they've ever done or their technical backgrounds or online aliases they would be known by. I'm sure they just want to pour years of time for a competitive community that they have absolutely no connection to...yup that makes sense!

TF2GamesWell, that is my job currently; spreading the world, answering to questions as well as I'm allowed to.
It might look like we are not currently working on the project, since we seem to have time to argue on the forums. But for real, it's just me and 1 other person doing that. And the reason why I'm arguing a lot with people is because I'm actually quite bored, I've been doing this for over 11 hours today and there are moments when you get no messages to answer at all.
