The (incredibly expensive and incredibly prematurely booked) accommodation is all being fronted by me, which I shan't be doing again for obvious reasons with the benefit of hindsight! It's all paid for and teams are paying me back from winnings/fundraisers/whatever.
Fundraiser is at £152 btw, thanks to everybody who donated, very much appreciated! <3
big thanks for hooking up accomodation for everyone, it'll be a shame if u lose money on it.

lmao why in the world would they do that at this point? this community is great and all but when it comes down to crunch time we have shit like this happening. Why would valve want to inject money into the game when the top players can't even use the community's money properly?
I don't think it's fair that six dudes had to try and plan an international trip they didn't even necessarily want to make in a month, but this stuff happens all the time in the scene.
part of the issue was that they kept committing to people who weren't sure they could make it. this just delayed the inevitable scrambling for mercs that they could've done 4 weeks ago.
