#551 PARIS TERRORIST ATTACK in Off Topic

what's different now to when the united states went arms deep into the shit in the middle east and caused all the issues that we're facing today? what are you suggesting be done differently this time?

SchweppesBecause the american definition of socialism/compared to their 2 party system (see: Bernie sanders) is not what socialism means over here. Also there's no such thing as free and I can guarantee you they aren't responsible or credited for the good things over here.

Why would I use everyday American definitions of socialism? I mean, I'm Swedish and socialism is most definitely both responsible and typically credited for many good things here.

why is socialism always both the cause of all that is bad in europe, and credited with all that is good?

ghettos being formed: damn socialists
free healthcare: thank god for socialists

idk any military response to this accomplishes nothing unless you wanna literally execute the entirety of ISIS. just stay strong, look over policies rationally but realise that these attacks are relatively few and that we're all (in the west) comparatively safe.

ForefatherBest thing ive read about this

"I want to be very clear: what you are seeing today in Paris is the natural (or perhaps more accurately, preternatural) endpoint of forced diversity, which, in practice, is really just putting people separated by both physical and genetic geography from each other in unnaturally and unwanted close proximity.

Make no mistake, the future for Europe and the West looks like Paris does today. Brown, violent, sectarian, and ugly. Gone, the ideals of fraternity, egalitarianism, and liberty; third worlder’s do not care (or have the capacity to care) for such lofty ambitions. When the West is no longer white, it will no longer be the West. And we're not going to be going sending Matt Damon to Mars, science fans, because we'll be fighting endless war for our survival instead.

It is not racist to want to be around those who are alike you, in culture, in creed, and in appearance – all of the world, save for postmodern whites, know this to be normal. Or, perhaps it is racist; at this point, who cares? The crazy thing about life in 2015 is the "racists" actually have the intellectual high ground, while those who noisily call for impossible equality for disparate and unequal peoples somehow enjoy the moral privilege.

This is the future. Diversity + Proximity = War. Asia for the Asians, Africa for the Africans, and Europe for all of the third world. Importing the third world, by the way, does not a first worlder make. Life is unfair, and evolution doesn't occur equally.

End this madness. Equality will be the idea that kills the West if left unchecked, as has been predicted by smart men and women for hundreds of years. You don't need a doctorate to see where this is headed; incidentally, I have one, but the average Joe on the street can articulate the points I've made here with more insight and passion than a legion of Ivy League charlatans.

In short, there is nothing sophisticated, esoteric, intellectual, complex, or even fun about ethnomasochism, the likes of which we see made plain in Paris’ arrondissements today."

fuck off

#240 Overwatch, who got in? in Other Games

yeah there isnt a problem when its like that. but when you have to pay for certain features that become essential to the game on a multiplayer level it doesnt have to be good, youll still have to buy it to take part

idk tf2s use of microtransactions was in many ways very new so you could argue that they were learning along the way. valve set a precedent of "we dont need you to pay for the game, you'll just pay for whatever features you'd like". the "horrible precedent" kaneco is refering to is likely that of "we want you to pay full price and then we want even more".

the301stspartanI mean, you either sell the entire game for full price with no bullshit attached or you have a f2p game with micro transactions, both is incredibly greedy and set a horrible precedent.Tf2 was a paid game with microtransactions for almost 4 years.

no it wasn't? what microtransactions were in tf2 before the store came along? iirc it was both payed and had the store for maybe a year tops
