reillyIs this the first Map 3 we've had in 3 LANs?
So last map 3 was LG vs Mihaly's Flow waaaaaaaaay back last summer? Wow.
I've always like felt like HRG as a team does something weird to the individual players. The damage logs often seem off. I can watch b4nny wreck face for 30 minutes and then look at a log and see that lansky outdamaged him by 100 dmg/min. Not sure if it's just me, but I can understand that it's hard for Tery to comprehend all the data.
Reminds me of something Monkeh wrote in a similar thread over at ETF2L
I remember being equally surprised when I found out it
the documentary was really overhyped; the hype around it before the event wasn't much. like tbh i feel like the fact that people talked about it for a year raised people's (including cause's presumably) expectations. like it wouldn't surprise me if the game plan of extv was to go to england and film shit, get interviews and then just put it together to make a documentary.
the two epsilon scouts in an interview.
Plus, the only major country in TF2 that has a questionable economy is Russia (that means all easties), all the countries in central or western Europe are hardly worse off than NA.
inb4 you bring up portugal and i look like a fool. portugal might be an exception
ETF2L has like 300 teams a season while ESEA-NA has barely 100 afaik. ESEA can't expect all 300 EU teams to switch, because of that difference in mentality and financial situation. But having 100 teams playing in ESEA-EU within a year seems reasonable to me.
If people can afford to buy a high end PC they can afford premium.
-Rice-i sorry but i don't much about esea but what are the advantages of using esea over etf2l
A client that deals with halves. Prizemoney as was mentioned. The same league played in both major continents is healthy for the game. In the future there should be more competitiveness in the lower divions with playoffs and (if I'm not mistaken) prizemoney there too.
VanillaTV getting less viewers because of worse casters doesn't seem too outlandish to me
AgileI could help with translating into Swedish if needed.
Translating point to punkt is fine but for the love of god Spanare and Sjukv
VTV has Arx and Beta and besides them literally zero good casters. "Try it yourself" isn't an argument, it's been said time and time again that you become a good caster by understanding the game and at the moment that's only Arx and Beta in VTV. And the difference in viewership is because of the casters, period. People don't enjoy watching Byte and Mia, because even though Byte isn't that bad, they're worse than anything TFTV would ever put on.
I have to say though, the production quality of VTV has been great. Though that's because of Arie (and in the past people like Skyride, BoneS and Torden if I'm not mistaken), not the people who get jumpy whenever someone critisises VTV.
Bones are you saying that you're #1 caster Mia has 5 SuddenlyStarStandins?
