I think this is the most viewers any TF2 stream has had besides casts. 503 according to when he went to the dashboard.
TF2 going places thanks to Phantoml0rd
cookieWhat about viaduct? Rollouts are basic, strats are completely different and I feel like we could learn a lot by playing a different game mode once in awhile!
Maybe... Only if the coach is the medic though. Viaduct is horrible to learn as medic.
CP is not playable anymore. Blu second doesn't unlock when Red caps mid.

Fixed Blu Wood. It had an extra line of code that caused it to spawn people in the middle of the map.
So I've been running the New Map Pugs group since February (October if you count the ones sponsored by Power Pugs). Since then, we have determined maps that are ESEA-ready.
Well, a map.
It's cp_edifice, an A/D map similar in layout to Gravel Pit (as of this post, latest version is cp_edifice_b3_test1).
Since we believe this map to be ESEA-ready, we'd like teams of all levels to start scrimming it. Having coherent teams test maps instead of testing maps in pugs will allow major flaws to be found that can't be easily tested in a pug setting. Think Ashville: it was tested extensively prior to being voted in. However, teams did not take the time to scrim the map prior to voting it in, so we ended up with one of the worst maps to ever be in the rotation.
So I request that every team, from Invite to Open, test this map. Of course, the best feedback will come from high IM and Invite teams (6 of which really can't scrim new maps right now), but it's best if feedback comes from all levels. So, even if your team went 0-12 in Open or is just starting this next season, please scrim Edifice.
Also, scrim the latest test version of Metalworks (latest: cp_metalworks_rc3_test2).
Thanks.
NoonaScootsIt'd be nice if they were an option though, last weekend most of the servers -only- had Granary, Badlands, and possibly Gullywash. We only teach the newbies strictly Badlands and Granary. These are the two bread and butter map of 6s. Once knowledge of these maps have been acquired by the newbies, they can move on to other pugs to experiment with other maps.
A lot of people in the mix wanted to do `anything but these three again` but that's all we had.
The tragic servers have been amazing in every other aspect, but more map selection options would be nice :]
I would say Process would be a good map to include, as it's basically up there with those two. However, it's a custom map and it would be best to not deal with that.
All of those besides Process (and throw in Metalworks) have quite a few people that hate them. Granary is less so, but is probably more hated than Badlands and Process. It's probably not the best idea to have quite a few maps that a sizable portion of the community hates.
I think having a bunch of maps even worse than Ashville would not be good either.
I think alternating every other weekend would be best. Ideally, New Map Pugs wouldn't even exist because teams would actually test new maps in scrims, but that's never going to happen.
From the tftv one, I could see your voice announcing a news broadcast intro or something. Which is awesome.
NoonaAs of now, Newbie Mixes are every Saturday from 9 PM - 12 PM EST. Perhaps in the future there will be Newbie Mixes Friday AND Saturday, but as of now, only Saturday.
Please don't, that's the only night that's devoid of TF2 things. It's the best time for New Map Pugs. Every day besides Friday and Saturday is scrim-filled. If Newbie Mixes and New Map Pugs are run at the same time, then both will suffer: Newbie Mixes won't have enough coaches (implying it ever does- side note: if you're qualified to coach in mixes (at least one season of Open, preferably 2 or IM experience) then coach!), and New Map Pugs will pretty much exclusively get people that do know how to play the game, but (generally) not at a good enough level to constructively criticize maps. The coaches really need to come help new maps too (and some do, not all though); if you host Newbie Mixes on Fridays, then none will. And I think we can all agree that not testing maps is a bad thing.
Hope this makes sense, it's 3:30 here and I should get to bed.
So I'm considering two different monitors, both Asus: VG236H and VG248QE.
I found the VG236 from two sellers on Ebay, both the same price. However, the shipping puts the cost up to near the price of the VG248.
I found this review of the VG236, seems like the color may be better than the VG248: http://www.anandtech.com/show/3842/asus-vg236h-review-our-first-look-at-120hz/7
Also, about Lightboost: I currently have an AMD card, but I may upgrade to an Nvidia card eventually. But is Lightboost really worth switching video cards for?
So I don't know which one to get. Basically the same price, but one may have better colors (if you can confirm/deny, please do), but the other has Lightboost. If I could have some input, that would be nice.
Also, hooli gave to me through Walka some advice on color calibrating on the VG248 (about halfway through the page): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=24-236-313&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=%28keywords%29&Page=6#scrollFullInfo
