#10 League Change Poll Mk. II in TF2 General Discussion

Looking at both polls, the only clear difference is that ETF2L got a huge percentage of the votes in the second poll, which might be due to the time I posted the poll. Otherwise, they're similar.

Ultimately, this poll is not to make a decision. It is only to lead to potential solutions.

ArcadehookyI like the 2 map a week thing, but I also like having 2 matches a week. Would it be possible to look into this format?
Once the week schedules are out there's nothing to stop you from scheduling two matches a week. ETF2L just tells you who you have to play against.

I meant split the maps up into 2 matches against different teams.

#156 ETF2L North American Division in TF2 General Discussion

I like the 2 map a week thing, but I also like having 2 matches a week. Would it be possible to look into this format?

Also, considering that most people want to switch to ETF2L (with CEVO close behind), a new league isn't going to work, which means that what IARENOBODY's team was planning is likely pointless. However, would you consider bringing them on board to improve the league? I would be down to admin, but if someone more qualified wants to do it, then (s)he is probably a better bet, as long as the admin is North American.

ArcadeIsn't IGL dead?

Pretty sure it is, but I included it anyway for good measure.

Prototypeswhy would you make another one. no one will be going back to esea after this season so why does it matter the survey was biased against that option?

13 percent of voters apparently disagree at the time of this post.

Arx made a good point that the original poll was not optimal. So, I made a new one that hopefully solves the issues.

#69 Pros and Cons of NA League choices in TF2 General Discussion

Honestly, the entire community (including non-NA/EU regions) should come together and create one league. That would be ideal. Probably won't happen though.

#64 Pros and Cons of NA League choices in TF2 General Discussion
BurnDLhookyBurnDLWe have one choice. ESEA. Or we could close shop and end Comp. TF2.I'd prefer the latter. And that's a perfectly fine choice. We just need to realize that the choice is not "Play ESEA or play this magical perfect new league that (insert name here) pulled out of his anus" but "Play ESEA or don't play comp TF2".

It's not necessarily that. Do you have proof to back up your claim? If not, then there's no reason why we shouldn't try to do something else.

Also, UGC seems to be doing fine. And ETF2L.

I'd prefer the latter.

Nahanni actually meant to say that she supports CEVO. I don't personally agree with that, but I respect her opinion.

Here's a strawpoll, by the way, about this: http://strawpoll.me/741278/

#284 meatshot 8) vol. 5 in TF2 General Discussion

So I know CEVO is already established, but do we really want to outsource our league again? CEVO could do the same things that ESEA is doing to us right now. I'd prefer to keep our leagues in the TF2 community.

That said, the only options are UGC and ETF2L. UGC is willing to work with us, and ETF2L is also. However, UGC is not taken seriously by most people, and ETF2L will not support the NA ruleset, at least during the transition. Honeatly, I think we could make a better league than what we have. We could take the good ideas of ESEA (stats, built-in pugs, scrims) and improve them and make them fit our individual needs. The tf2.gg devs are willing to help out with this, so we basically have some sort of base there.

Here's a preliminary poll for what to do, because why not: http://strawpoll.me/741278
