Casting is something that we all enjoy and benefit from. The work of the production teams is often a thankless job, and there are many people in this community who have put thousands of hours, and lots of their own money into driving TF2 casting and production forward.
As part of evlTV's efforts to raise funds to pay these fine people and offset some of the time and talent they have donated, we have worked with our casters and each one has a uniquely designed shirt that represents them.
65% of the profits from each shirt will go to each caster and camera, with the rest going to evlTV to further improve our production quality, and also funding future events (tournaments, cups etc). The money earned by each shirt will be used to compensate said caster every time they cast for evlTV.
We currently have four shirts available: Atwas, Deer, Flatline and Dashner. We are of course going to continue releasing more shirts for other casters and cameras in the coming months, but until then, this is a great opportunity to support your favourite casters and the people who put forth so much effort into covering our competitive scene.
All shirts come in Mens' (unisex) and Ladies styles.
As a bonus! If you order all four shirts and use coupon code 'allfour' you'll receive free shipping and $7 off your total order!
Shirt orders are accepted on our network site evl.gg
Myself, and the evlTV casting team truly appreciate your support! If you have any question, feel free to PM me or ask here.
The vod is up folks!
KatieYoshi51If you're interested in learning how to do camera work, the evlTV crew are currently in the midst of a new "recruitment" phase to get new aspiring individuals into the casting/cam scene. They work with you on a "one on one" basis to help you get things set up properly and helpful tips that watching countless videos can't offer.
For sure. I am really looking for a few tips before I even apporach that stuff.
So far I've been using spec tools, and that advspec, but couldnt deffnitely use some help?
I need tools that the pro's use, and how is the way to obtain them?
I'll be taking on a few folks and mentoring them through camera work / streaming and possibly some post-production type work as part of the evlTV recruitment. It's never too early to get involved.
If you missed the match check it out here on le youtube
SideshowYou guys cover anything happening 01:30-18:30 et?
If you mean EST, then sadly no. If you meant EET then yes we do :)
Casts usually take 1 1/2 hours a week, playoffs are closer to 2 1/2 or even 3 hours per week.
You would also work with a mentor probably 1 hour per week starting off, less and less as time goes by.
Woogiebugcan i still buy the ladies shirt if im not a lady?
Whichever makes you feel beautiful! I won't stop you ;)

evlTV is now actively looking to recruit new casters and production staff! We're looking for both experienced casters and new casters who are willing to work on improving while receiving mentoring from established casters.
In addition to casting events like the Battle Royale, we also cover Highlander, 6s, 4s, and Ultiduo for both UGC and ESEA.
One of the biggest new goals for evlTV this coming year is to compensate some of our casters and production staff. This in part due to a new budget provided by our parent company evlgaming.com, as well as additional support from our new, caster inspired, T-shirt campaign. The T-shirt campaign was created to help reward our casters, while allowing them to have an awesome piece of merch with their own name and personal design!
While the casting community has been relatively self reliant, we truly believe that they deserve to be compensated for their commitment and efforts, and that overall this can only lead to an increase in quality and exposure for the TF2 e-sports scene.
We've just launched two new caster shirt designs for Atwas and Deer which you can find below, proof that we are working to not only build our brand but also reward our staff. Proceeds from both shirts benefit Atwas and Deer, and we plan to add more casters into this opportunity!
While we have received a production budget, it is not large enough to allow all of our staff to have an earning role. Initially our budget will be sent to our production team (camera / streamers) and our top casting talent. Top casting talent are people who are regularly available for events and who are consistently showing improvement. In addition, the T-Shirt campaigns will be made available to casters after they have completed at least 5 season casts.
New casters should expect to spend a few hours per week casting on their own, outside of evlTV, and working with their mentor. Camera / Production staff should also spend a few hours each week to improve their craft. If this is not something that you can continuously support (and we understand not everyone has time) we don't advise signing up.
Those who submit an application should expect to be contacted within a few days. All potential applicants should be comfortable completing a mumble interview with evl staff.

Players!
An e-mail was sent out telling you how to find your match servers. This event is managed by the first iteration of the EVL Jukebox match system! This software will automatically setup match servers in Dallas or Chicago (depending on availability) and also automatically collect match scores. All the players need to do is find their match in the Jukebox page which will then provide you your server connection info.
Spectators!
Spectators will be able to watch the finals live on evlTV on Sunday 22nd starting at 12pm PST. Coverage provided by Atwas and Getawhale!
For all other matches, spectators can find the STV links at http://evlbr.com near the bottom of the page. All matches will be publicly viewable.
We now have 12 confirmed teams (see the main post for a list of confirmed teams)! If your team is not listed in above as confirmed then your team has not paid! You must pay up in order to become confirmed, confirmation slots are given out based on when you pay your keys and not when you signed up.
As of now there are 8 teams who have registered but have not paid. If you want to guarantee your spot in the event please get your keys (or poster orders!) in asap!
