Browny, I'm the only user on here, so I'm automatically the administrator. I tried what you suggested on post #8 through the services. When you right click on a started or stopped service, the option to start/stop is in black while other options are probably grayed out. For MsMpEng.exe, all of it is grayed out. Started, but can't be stopped.
Yes, you are the only user but you're NOT "SYSTEM". AV's shouldn't be able to be killed off via task manager and looks like they fixed that via a patch.
Some link you could read
another
[url] button?
Also MSE ranks pretty low in virus detection...
btw, MsMpEng.exe also runs Defender, so when you disable Security Essentials, Defender kicks up. Look for the service Windows Defender or go through control Panel and there's an option to turn off Defender as well.
Why not shut down the scanner properly, via the settings menu?
Ask AnAkin if we can use his anti-cheat tool.
Play matches (and scrims?) on 'official' servers.
Is there a max of 3 servers to hop to? I was on the new dallas server and the hop menu only showed me the pub, ammomod, and the first dallas.
Holy moly, someone just pick him up. Else he's gonna flood the recruitment forums.
I don't get why you're making new threads...You're losing all the positive feedback in your 5? 10? other threads.
tragicDo people really want a West Coast MGE that bad? I could put one up and let Fog take care of it.
no, look what happened to MGEitWest.
anyone on a SSD? My fps freezes don't seem to happen :S

If not, try adding -nosound to launch options.
delpoNot_MatlockWhen I first got my monitor it wouldn't do 120Hz in 32bit color and would randomly change down to 100Hz. You can try making a custom monitor profile in your graphics card's control panel with custom settings.I looked in CCC and I couldn't find anything about custom monitor profiles D:
Look around in the monitor's OSD, there should be something around there that gives you the refreshrate and resolution.
BioDon't forget the part where the titan allows you to overclock your display to boost the HZ a bit.
pssttt....there are tools to do exactly that without a titan.
Use a tool to measure frametime.
Msi Afterburner has monitoring options for frametime and framerate. (and a very nice recording tool :D)
Obviously if the monitor catches the framerate falling below the refresh rate, that's what's causing the issue...
If you see spikes in frametime it could indicate something that amd has to fix with their driver.

Have you closed all other apps and services?
