Maybe on AMD, though you still need an nvidia card :(. I don't have a lightboost monitor to test ^ with but posts below seem to support it.
Would this be allowed with ESEA? It uses a program separate from the drivers to do this, so I'm kinda confused.

I use CRU for my monitor Overclocking. It just makes an entirely new EDID for the monitor. ESEA can't do anything about that.

I used an EDID generated by CRU for all of s13. 86hz LCD, so much better than 60hz..

#21 g400 no longer being replaced by Logitech in Hardware
atmoI believe there are replacement cables out there for 5-pin/USB mouses. Shouldn't be more than a couple of dollars I expect.

Edit: It seems like they're not as widespread as Id though. However if you have another old mouse that you can open up, it probably has the same cable.

Open the mouse, trim off the shorted part of the cable, and solder the ends back together...
Heatshrink wrap the individual wires and the main insulator, done.

ok, maybe most people don't have a soldering iron and heatshrink tubing...it's well worth the money.

ritalinPeople can still use Eyefinity and other stuff to increase FOV I guess

-a friend's image, he was trying out eyefinity.

You can even create custom fullscreen resolutions, windowed mode doesn't work anymore.

Samson SR850

Totally no name, perhaps even OEM for some other companies, but they have a wide soundstage, great reviews on head-fi.

Semi-open so uh... Yeah no sound isolation sorry :(

There are the JVC HA-RX700/HA-RX900 which are AudioTechnica's A700X/A900X copycats

#12 TF2 clips. Solution to huge .avi files? in Off Topic
KanecoI guess I can import directly the image sequence into after effects, won't that be much more complicated to work around tho instead of a single file?

Source -> After Effects -> ? -> Vegas -> Final Encode
Source -> After Effects -> Premier -> Final Encode

There shouldn't be a problem importing an image sequence. But you'll have to create an intermediate format to import to vegas.

Do you have Java and dokan library installed? Does Dokan even support win8? Maybe you can't use it, but I don't know a thing about Win8.

#9 TF2 clips. Solution to huge .avi files? in Off Topic

Do you absolutely need an intermediate format*?

Doesn't your video editor support importing the image sequence? You could save time by skipping the step... You shouldn't need to move the images files on the disk if you're properly using recording tools like lawenarecordingtool and srcdemo2

Also, you shouldn't use lossy codecs (like h264/xvid) as an intermediate format because you'll end up with compression artifacts before the final encode. Look for encoders with "lossless" in the name.

If you absolutely have no space for lossless files...Look into 10bit encoders, totally might not be supported by VEGAS but you'll save tons of disk space.

*intermediate formats are not meant to be played, so VLC/MPC/WMP will have trouble decoding them smoothly.

#4 Crosshair Help? in TF2 General Discussion

uh....Look at another crosshair as reference?
Wasn't difficult to learn myself.

There's two types of crosshairs(?)

ImagePanel vs CExLabel

ImagePanel is simply a rectangle you can resize and reposition to look like a crosshair.
ex...http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/4132-help-adding-crosshair-lines

CExLabel takes text. Most huds come with a crosshair font face.

#16 Why does everyone edit on Sony Vegas? in TF2 General Discussion

Vegas = OpenCL acceleration for both Nvidia and AMD
Premier6 = Cuda for Nvidia, OpenCL for 2/3 MacOS AMD cards.

Really sucks for AMD users on Premier.

something comfortable.

g400 has cable issues, so prepare to RMA.
Deathadder too has problems, mouse feet too thin, switches wear out fast
