StaticVoidAll of you complaining about no weapon/class bans fail to realize that Valve isn't going to just take ESEA or UGC's configs and slap their name on it. They're focused on releasing a MM that, like others have said, will bridge the gap from everyday pubs, to much more serious play. ESEA and UGC will still exist, they will continue to run their configs, and Valve will run theirs. It's similar to how competitive in CS:GO works. CS:GO MM servers do not match the same server configs as ESEA, so I would expect Valve to follow a similar route with TF2.

They almost convinced lpkane to shut down ESEA for TF2 until lpkane saw the matchmaking update, which made him change his mind. This left TFTV very unhappy, which is the reason why ESEA games are rarely casted. TFTV will only resume casting more matches when lpkane pays them.
I actually laughed so hard. This is possibly the dumbest thing I've read in 2015. This is satire right?

That's just a script that runs every so often, it is not automatic. If you have 6 players, your status will change soon.
