The only time, that I know of, where you should use mat_queue_mode 0 100% is when you plan on changing ticks in a demo. Not sure how buggy it is to use now in terms of gameplay since I believe they fixedi t.

I think disabling it can raise FPS in some situations. I have multiple cores as do many people, but I don't notice a drop in FPS with it turned off. I play with it on anyway. Only time I turn it off is when recording/watching a demo, so I don't crash while changing ticks.

Play With Soul and Stevy's 9 Lives are some of the best videos, but really underrated because "it's cod". Too bad a lot of people don't realize CoD4 is actually a classic game, just most others afterwards have dirtied the series completely.
