If you wanna take a roadtrip and have the money, go visit Vegas. It's only about 4/5 hours from the general LA area. I was born in LA but lived in Palm Dale til I was 5 and then went to Vegas, so I can't help you as far as LA goes. I'd suggest Disneyland and, if it's still there and within your budget, SeaWorld. I think that's in San Diego though.

The question I have is how "soon" these 10k hours have to be reached. If over 10 years of casually doing the same thing you finally reach 10k, will your potential peak the same if you managed 10k in 5 years instead?
