An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
> Fixed a bug that prevented some clients from updating their contract progress
> Fixed a bug where The Family Business was firing slower than it was supposed to
Notes missed from the previous update:
> Power Jack
Reduced health gained on kill from +75hp to +25hp
> Cozy Camper
Removed increased damage taken penalty
> Rescue Ranger
Decreased cost of long range building pick up from 130 metal to 100 metal
> Spy-cicle (previous note was incorrect)
Changed fire immunity for 3 seconds to fire immunity for 1 second and 10 seconds of afterburn immunity

Once you get 100/100 on a contract, you're supposed to press F2 to turn it in, but it does nothing except bring up the contract menu. You can't do anything else besides view contracts and close the menu. I read restarting the game helps, so I did and nothing happened except my contracts are now at 0/100.this problem was fixed for me when I removed my custom HUD
I removed my custom HUD before even trying out the new update.
and does there really need to be a fucking petition to fix the jumping? i fail to see how this change was at all intentional.

i don't get it. i got my engineer contract to 100/100 and it told me to open up the contract menu via f2 to turn it in yet i saw no clear way to turn it in. i was told to restart, so i did and now my contract is back to 0/100 and i have nothing.

MightySideshowIt's an awesome update but as usual they did it VALVE STYLE and broke everything. As soon as they fix all the stuff they broke this will be an excellent change to the game....
To be honest, I don't know if valve will 'fix' this at all. After all, Valve wants this game to be noob-friendly. So that means making the game simpler. Wouldn't it be simpler if you had never had to have learned c-tap, basher jumping, speedshots, or learn how far away to shoot a rocket for the desired effect?

BonafideJust because there are some bugs right now after the update doesn't mean it's the worst update ever, there will probably be a patch soon since there is no way valve is going to let this one slide, crying about it's the worst update ever is just retarded, this update is the beginning of a new tf2
I think you're missing the part where we're a community that heavily depends on a lot that is currently broken. Pubbies can just go suck themselves off on an unaffected class, but if we wanna do what we like to do, we're forced to deal with broken mechanics.

reload your hud
There is no 0/100 bar, reloading hud does not update the bar because the bar does not exist. The contract is never "active" it only ever says "2 new contracts".
mine says "2 new contracts as well but i can still update my contracts by doing what's requested". are you still using a custom hud? might be messing something up if you are.
