And now I'm even more excited for FO4. Gonna go hibernate til November.
Try relaunching TF2 through Lawena, then quitting TF2. You must have closed both of them incorrectly, keeping the files Lawena temporarily overwrites with in order to use whatever HUD and config options you selected.
i post nowhere as much as i used to and i'm still haunted by the #1 spot.
i'm willing to donate my nerd stars to someone of higher post quality.

the fucking chocolate chip smiley face pancakes are a nostalgia trip and a half.
I'd be surprised if anyone realistically hasn't.
Muse is Music. It's hard to not like them.
I wish FNV gave an actual incentive to play as the "good guy" other than just being the good guy. If you've beat FNV being the good guy, there's probably one huge flaw that you'll notice: the good guys have a shit ton of good shit lying around that won't actually be touched and cannot be obtained unless you loot it yourself, thus making you steal it and lose karma, making you ever so slightly more of a bad guy. I mean, for fuck sake, the good guy side of this game has all this amazing loot lying around, and unless you steal it, contradicting what it means to be a good guy, you have to wait until basically the end of the game, where you actually have enough disposable money to buy whatever you want, to indulge yourself in the possibilities of all these items. However (here's a shocker...), if you're the bad guy, you can rightfully, in terms of bad guy morals, just steal all this shit and them hating you won't be a problem cause they already do. There's something actually annoying about this. The NCR has all this unused shit lying around that remains as such, yet they constantly complain about being underpowered and without enough men. I mean, come the fuck on... You have all these actually good weapons and somehow some rebels without these actually good items are a threat? L-O-FUCKING-L. You see, this would have been a viable issue IF THE BAD GUYS ACTUALLY HAD GOOD LOOT TO CONTEST THEM WITH. And that's where this actually becomes an issue. The NCR has all this good shit that you can basically obtain right away if you're the bad guy. What if you're the good guy? Well, then you have to experience what it means to basically grind out the game until getting all this shit is no longer a financial dream. But wait, now there's a new problem! It gets to this point... and then you beat the game soon after. WHELP
Speaking of the karma system, the karma system is/was shit. They worked that out pretty well in Skyrim, at least in comparison. It was pretty shitty, but the worst part about it was that you can steal from an opposing faction and still lose overall karma. Sorry, game, I didn't realize morality was so important in this regard, despite what the entire game is about. You win; I won't try to help the good guys by stealing from the bad.
On top of that, I wish I had the ability to make things harder. There's hardcore, which more or less just makes thing more inconvenient, but not necessarily harder. The first time coming face-to-face with the legion in, I believe, Nipton was pretty underwhelming when I decided to be against them. The numbers were about 7-10 to 1 and it didn't feel nearly as hard as it should have.
Using any weapon type other than "guns" was pointless outside of a gimmick save state. Energy weapons, at least, should have been more interesting and had more variety. Even the unique energy weapons were basically mirrors with small stat differences most of the time. If I wanted to play as a butch woman wielding nothing but melee weapons, I should have been able to do that without feeling hopelessly underpowered. I mean FFS, the melee weapons had more variety and unique attributes than the "guns" weapon spectrum, yet managed to fail in overall (especially endgame) usefulness.
The only other issue that I can think up at this moment was that the entire idea of exploration was underwhelming. You have all these unique areas to visit, yet 85% or more of them serve no purpose other than to make you believe there's actually some formidable attempt at open world exploration when there wasn't. At the very least, I guess it could have been worse since they tried to at least give some loot, despite how useful it hardly was.
Despite all the obvious issues, at least for me, I still had a ton of fun. At least enough to nearly 100% finish it. I just hope these issues get resolved in some positive way with FO4.
edit: readjusted a couple areas of this essay to make it make more sense in terms of my feelings towards the latest installment, rather than a long wall of blabber.
goombaGee guys, I can't wait for another Bethesda game with plot holes, continuity errors, unbalanced mediocre gameplay, innane jokes, atmosphere breakers, god awful voice acting, shitty graphics, and best of all unkillable children; It's gonna be great!
Edit: oh i forgot another thing, it had the worst ending in any game ever until mass effect 3
