KanecokomorebiWhen I hover over team icons I don't get rosters so just in case you haven't found them yet:I think he meant on the wiki page not on tf.tv and it's definitely working
Oh my bad yeah wiki has them. I really just wanted to succinctly cover the rationale and history behind the roster changes tho.
When I hover over team icons I don't get rosters so just in case you haven't found them yet:
froyotech:
medic: shade
demoman: duwatna
pocket: b4nny
roamer: blaze_
scout: clockwork
scout: ash
ascent:
medic: TheFragile :3
demoman: bdonski
pocket: rando
roamer: ma3la
scout: shrugger
scout: enigma
Lansky couldn't make it to i55 due to work so froyotech initially used serv0 as pocket, who was a backup on their roster, but, after a loss to ascent on sunshine, serv0 and the team decided that he didn't have the time to really commit so they pursued other options, eventually picking up ash as pocket. In the offline playoffs (no lan this season) froyotech looked decidedly off-form early on, dropping a map to Street Hoops and losing two straight 5-4 maps to ascent in Upper Bracket Finals amidst internet issues plaguing shade (and even an eventual medic ringer). In light of this they decided to change it up and moved b4nny from scout to pocket and ash to scout. They then had a very nice run through the lower bracket, not dropping another map throughout the rest of ESEA playoffs, eventually grabbing the title.
Decimate also cannot make it (I think for work as well?) so enigma stepped up to play for him. This change occurred after ESEA lan so no one really knows how well he will mesh in a serious setting but no one doubts his capabilities.
Would it be helpful if people who watched lan kept timestamps of big plays? Obviously not as good as ticks but it might save work for you, especially for people watching the second stream/smaller games.
Charles32TevsCould you take the time and give me a vote, I'm hoping to get some aid. On my last year of my batchelor's, I have a family, work full time and trying to finish school this next year, so money is tight. Ask me question if you have any but here is the link:

thanks in advance
I can't vote through that link. Also what would you do with your degree/financial support? Why should I vote for you?
In regards to transfers: how does the website grab stats? If a game has ended is it 100% certain that the points have been awarded? Not sure how tight the schedule will be but I'd like to be able to transfer players as teams are eliminated confidently.
Red_This literally does nothing I don't really see the point...whatever I guess you guys do
Did you even read the article??? People are joining ISIS, a large part of this is their propaganda. This movement is intended to make it so when you google "ISIS" you get pictures of this stupid anime chick instead of their propaganda. IDK why I'm responding to you though, considering everything.
This is the best type of spoiler, it surprises literally nobody!!

MightyFlickerIt's just a modified broeselhud

I kind of don't agree with having this kind of 'rule' with HUD mods. Some of the HUD Mods I've tried out (ex: bwHUD_hexEdition) are far off enough from the original that they can change how much I personally like them completely. And besides, at least a quarter of the 'new' huds posted are 'generic yahud bs ripoffs'. Why should those not be considered hud mods?
Obviously it's up for debate what deserves a thread but if the changes made would take under an hour for anyone who knew what they're doing then it probably doesn't deserve its own thread. This oreo hud is pretty clearly under that category. The bw hex hud is at least a major stylistic revamp which incorporates custom vtfs.
four straight one round games between these two teams heading into the second Bo3, hype!
riot124What happened to the events forum? I actually had no idea this was played until b4nny's twitter status that he was playing LB finals
fucking flew over my head without the events forum.
'Upcoming events' is still in the sidebar and 'schedule' in the title bar leads to you to what once was called 'events'. You can also click 'full schedule' under the upcoming events in the sidebar to get there. There's also, ya'know, the front page of the website.
As a side note: when the first post says the final is 'independent from insomnia' and on its own stage, does this mean that we, as a community, have more say than in previous i-series summer events for some reason? This seems to be implied, did I miss a thread or something? Multiplay's website isn't giving me much info here.
KevinIsPwnThey've done spread in the past on various single-map games, so I don't see why they would overturn it based on that.
It'll have to wait until Cherry wakes up for a final verdict but I'd imagine all bets will be returned based on this:

which would suggest that the spread was implemented with a BO3 in mind, meaning it isn't optimized for rounds, but for maps. In addition there is, of course, the simple fact that anyone who saw that would have bet with that in mind.
