Also look into overclocking. Just buy a beefy heatsink fan and gain an extra 30-40 fps.

#3 a big thank you in TF2 General Discussion

Before the 'constructive criticism' rolls in one thing I wouldn't have you change is the energy you bring to the mic. The enthusiasm and excitement you express when key/clutch events occur only serve to accentuate and convey the importance and rarity of such events.

#8 Starting a Good Exercise Routine? in Off Topic

Running is excellent for losing weight and improving your mental health. Start out small, even half a mile will get your heart racing and your metabolism sped up. Finding a nice trail to run helps as well, doing laps works but its nice to look at different things as you go. If you are so heavy that you have knee and ankle problems you should first use an elliptical because the one downside of running is that it is high impact which does put stress on your ankles and knees especially. As you keep running you can gradually increase the distance as you feel comfortable. The great thing about running is that you require no real equipment or gym memberships, and you can virtually do it any time of the day or week. I highly recommend running every other day to give your bones and muscles time to recuperate because you do burn a lot of stored up nutrients when you run.

The mental benefits include confidence from undertaking and completing a goal you set for yourself. You do also gain extra energy and endorphins from the 'runners-high'. Running also relieves you of many stresses you may be feeling, as well as pumping more oxygen rich blood to your brain so you usually think faster with greater clarity.

I have been running for over 5 years and it has positively accentuated nearly every aspect of my life, even my tf2 play has improved with running. Finally lots of people run so you can make friends, who can challenge and motivate you continually improve!

#5 What Are Your Casting Preferences? in TF2 General Discussion

I actually really like being able to see an aggregate of the team's total health. It makes understanding the tide of a mid fight/ non v non engagement, where there haven't been many picks yet, much easier.

#76 CEVO LAN Finals @ theGXL in Events

Perhaps a suggestion for the next event. I know lan finals are supposed to be the ultimate test of endurance and stamina. However if at all possible, could the grand finals be the next day at a reasonable time (not 9 in the morning as with i52)? That way both teams can rest up and recuperate to put on the best show possible. Not to make excuses for anyone but I kind of felt for mix up, after fighting it out of a 3rd map with elevate they didn't get much of a rest between that and the grand finals, and it showed. Their first map against Froyo at the beginning of the day was much closer. Not to say Froyo didn't improve as the day went on, but the manner in which froyo rolled especially on sunshine it just looked like mix up were a little depleted.

Sidenote, Getawhale and Geks offered the kind of casting that has been the staple of european casting for a while with admirable and pledge. It was professional with the odd curse word thrown in, but that was excusable. The cast was also witty, and both casters actually had casting/radio voices, as opposed to whiny, insecure, sarcastic, just entered puberty voices that we are used to. If the e-sport is going to grow the game needs more people like this.

TLDR edition:
1. Move grand finals to the next day at a reasonable time.
2. The casting was great.

Great casting very professional by getawhale and gecks. However the duwatna cam is a little depressing he looks so sad all the time.
