Objective-C++ and C++ as a living (music production software).
C++ for games, Python and Django for various scripts + website, Java, Ruby (through Ruby on Rails), Scheme (LISP variant), a little bit of PHP, HTML + CSS + JS.
Did some Computer Science in high school, continued it in college (+ some electrical engineering), still haven't graduated, got a job before it.
Good stuff! Rooting for my boy Paddie; the match of the week will definitely be a great one.
Bump! Here's some music for you. It's been on repeat for me! https://soundcloud.com/deadbattery/the-notorious-b-i-g-everyday-1
Pig benis. <|8O)
Shoutout to the boys in mud. That game is definitely going to be the one to watch.
Great writeup, too!
Hello. I've edited my main post for season 15. I know it's quite early but I figured I might as well start looking. I might end up BUMPING this a lot as season 14 finishes, ah well. :/
Event updated with the correct time and casting lineup.
Damn timezones.

Yeah, obviously what I said doesn't apply for every case, and interest definitely takes a huge part of it when there are 6 players that need to contribute to make a team. Out of those who DON'T lose interest want to stay competitive, and roster changes are going to be a part of that.
@ m, yep, that's what I meant. I didn't state it clearly.
I'm not even close to authority on this subject, but that's just what I've seen from my short time.
EDIT: I will add, I wanted to comment because I love theorizing rosters and following that kind of stuff. My equivalent of gossip, I guess. :)

1) Be a medic main. Don't drop ubers, give heals.
2) Get 5 good teammates.
3) Attempt to play a season.
4) Cut and persuade your way into Prem/equivalent/the top.
5) Win?
6) ???
7) Profit!
In all seriousness, people in this game really want to win. The mix^ vs b4nny's team rivalry has been going on for SEASONS. So many teams in IM especially (even playoff teams) die and reform because people want to be the very best. There's little incentive to WAIT for a team to grow. I don't think this is prevalent, but, some people probably think they're way better than they actually are (and thus they look upwards for rosters to join).
Daggerjoin tri hards, drop boomer?
Boomer is having a great season so far. It'd be too much of a risk, even if they wanted to do that.
MastMissed this game. Will they be posted on the teamfortresstv youtube channel?
Yes. All matches should, with *occasional* exceptions (like when ESEA STVs were really, really bad). This match will be.
Lexsoor: update on lag: it seems like a backbone node near me has been taken out by (maybe) the massive storm going on at the moment, I apologize to twitch for blaming their servers it was the simplest explanation
Hi Dronux. Already a lot of good advice in this thread. Just always keep in mind, reputation is something you let grow over time; you don't suddenly jump to fame. Consistent pugging/practice/ringing/etc. will keep helping that grow, as long as your own skills are growing as well.
And always know, if you're an honest person, people will forgive you for your mistakes.
EDIT: I'll also add, I had a very bad first season of Open (2 wins, 14 losses, both wins were FFWs), but I didn't let that phase me and continued to learn to play this game. I'm surprised that I have the amount of tryouts/offers I've gotten.
