You guys are awesome and have seriously made stat checking (and thus, improving as a player) very easy. Take your time, make sure it works, don't be stressed, kick ass. SS has been working pretty well as it is at the moment (I personally haven't run into any bugs).

Panda_PosseLET'S GO SPAM!! Gotta root for the teammate. Just don't let it distract you from our matches ;)
It's okay, he mains engineer in open anyways.
Huntwhos gonna be casting this?
Details are definitely in the unknown at the moment, if only because of the undecided scheduling. Once the match times are sorted/confirmed, casters/camera will definitely follow right up.
SideshowI'd be wary of starting with a clean slate for TF2 though as you have no experienced anti-cheat team or client do you? Just seems like a bit of an invitation to hackers who've already been caught in other leagues.
Honestly, it's only fair to assume people are clean, especially if they've already been caught. Granted, yes, cheating again is a very real possibility, but the circumstance should let it speak for itself (and people should be given a second chance). Not to mention that relying on another league's ban list would just be a bit odd of them. I know ETF2L does great work in AC, but I'm pretty sure IGL would rather develop their own methodology.
But who knows. I'm not IGL.
If the ETF2L admins will allow it, I'd reach out to players on their forums. If you don't need to, you shouldn't rely on one player to start a regional division.
Speaking from an NA player's perspective:
- Having stuff like TFTrue, SourceMod installed and configured the way we like it (whatever settings your region uses, for TFTrue, and proper access for SourceMod)
- Making sure the server doesn't do anything stupidly unexpected (changing maps even though a scrim/PCW/match is still being played HEH OOPS)
- UP TO DATE maps. It pains me to see how many servers still run cp_process_rc2 and cp_metalworks_rc3 (hi Fog).
- Configs, of course.
- Possibly a custom config for PCWs (from what I've seen, PCWs run first to 5 with a 30 min limit)
- Answering stupid questions with "did you do rcon_password password first?"
- STV running and working, no question (HEH OOPS #2)
- Making sure TFTrue automatically uploads logs.
- Even better, having a web host that publicly lists the demo associated with it and a link of the logs.
That's as far as I know, regarding the server itself. I think most of the INTERESTING parts of server management comes from the stuff outside of it, like doing stuff with demos and logs, almost like what Crack Clan is doing (and they are definitely top notch A++ when it comes to this stuff).
TwitchTVJohnI will be there reporting on Half Life 3, Team Fortress 3 and Left 4 Dead 3.
Portal 3
I've begun streaming. Including the use of some of your favorite casting team's assets. :)
ompIt's worth noting that GitHub also removed downloads several months ago. Of course, you can download a snapshot of the repository at any commit, but you can't manually upload files.

IMO, that's fine. GitHub as is is pretty good for HUDs and some of the big ones are already there.
It's unknown, however, how exactly Google Code intends to change downloads. That's why I advised enigma to just add support for GitHub only as of now.
I'm in often contact with the maker of KBNHUD and he says he will be moving to GitHub, so that's another relatively major HUD moving there.
Hey dudes, I'm not a caster but I've been meaning to work on my camera so I'm gonna stream two matches:
- Will I ever dance again vs. Rice Guys Finish Last, Sunday, 7 PM PST (Open)
- 6cuties vs. Knights of Grillz, Sunday, 8 PM PST (IM)
These matches should be relatively close, I think (I know or know of players on all of the teams), but regardless, these are probably some of the top teams in their respective divisions.
We'll hang out and have a good time. I'll most likely do analysis and make weird noises (NYYAAAAAAAA) since I don't have the meth that our awesome casters use.
EDIT: Stream is http://twitch.tv/nulflo, but it'll show up on the right bar anyways under my name (mana).
Yep, I just had a good talk with him. Suffice to say, we both have a better understanding of how are scenes work. It's hard to say when things may take effect, but we'll definitely try. And I can more or less communicate fine in Korean.
So, remember that CS player I yelled at?
If any of these people ever show up to where I am...
Danerdzi play in borderless windowed mode, and have never had a problem with the mouse leaving the game. try that?
This doesn't stop when you occasionally flick so hard it leaves you staring at the ground wondering why you aren't raining rockets on everyone in DM.
This thread has some interesting solutions, haven't gotten around to trying them all: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/8058-different-methods-to-lock-cursor-to-one-monitor
For reference the locked toolbar didn't do it for me. :(
Awesome vid.
By the way, if I knew more about the AsiaFortress community (and subsequently the Asian TF2 community), I'd totally be down to reach out to them, as would maybe some other Asian speakers too.
