snapshots_balanced is a compromise, it balances lower interp for people who mind the visual delay with a bit of safety for occasional dropped packets. Safe ensures that a dropped packet will not cause any visual jitter for entities.

This means that as far as modules go, aa_msaa_16x was the last thing that was ran. So if AA is none, there is mat_antialias 0 or 1 being run somewhere.

Where do you have your files? And are you using mastercomfig? Mastercomfig replaces your autoexec and you will have to use custom.cfg instead.

That's not the main issue. I want to communicate with my team and participate in that coordination, but if I get on the mic, I can't participate in the same conversations the boys were having.

Maybe my argument about people being creepy was confusing in this sense. I didn't mean to make it exclusively about women, I was just bringing up a scenario that I have personally experienced many times where someone is otherwise fine except for interacting with me. Though you are right that it's probably better to just mute them anyway.

It's just that I don't like the current culture of the Internet and want it to shift. It really doesn't have to do with women specifically, it's just easier for me to relate to and explain stuff I personally know about.

Well, you can start by basing your config off of mine instead of the other way around. That will ensure you get the best values and commands for what you want. Also, please use Pastebin to paste config files instead of posting it in the thread.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I do mute them. My problem though is that without preemptively muting everyone, I will have to hear at least some abuse to know to mute someone.

Also, I would much rather have great conversations with my team. I don't want to have to mute people just to have a good experience. I would much rather be able to always talk with my team without facing harassment.

Finally, sometimes someone is having productive conversations and is making good calls but then gets creepy with me. I don't know what to do in those scenarios (in regards to muting), as it just makes me miss out on team play and coordination, but makes me have to suffer through harassment.
